POV: Jewel

I walked into the shower and stood behind Hunter as he was washing his hair. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his back. "You're up early...did you sleep well?" He asked and turned around.

"I did...I think I should do something today, I've been lazy..." I said to him and kissed his cheek.
"You've..." He said and sighed before kissing my forehead.
"This is about Donato calling you downstairs, isn't it?" I said.

"He has been so tensed today...even in the garage..."
"What about the garage?" I asked.
"I was there in the morning, I got there while looking for him and we talked. He seemed tensed and reluctant...it was like he didn't want to do something." He said as I rinsed off his hair.

"We only find out if we go downstairs and listen to what he wants to say." He nodded and pecked my lips and put his hand on my small belly. I was over 2 months into my pregnancy now, even though the bump was small, it was elating to feel it.

I pecked him back then he stood behind me, letting me be under the water. "I can shower alone." I let out a soft chuckle.
"Never said you can't." I let out a soft giggle as he poured shampoo on my head and massaged it. For some reason, it always felt ticklish.

As for his stubborn decision, he didn't leave me the whole time I showered. After 30 or 40 minutes, we both got to the closet and dressed for the day. I just wore a long dress with floral print, I don't know why it's always so comfortable.

Then we both went down to the kitchen and I made myself a cup of coffee. Hunter sat down at the dining table, eating his bowl of cereal and toast. After an hour or so, Donato came in from the main door and sat in the living room.

Hunter went and sat beside him and soon after he waved at me, telling me to come to them. I went to them and sat in front of them. We all chatted about our morning and before I knew it, Hayley was also downstairs.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Hunter asked, looking at Him and Hayley.
"We found out who is behind...the fire," Donato said, giving Hayley a dubious look.
"Who do I have to bring here now?" Hunter asked.
"No one," Hayley said.

"Then?" I asked them.
"We both decided on something...about you two..." Donato said.
"What about us?" Hunter replied.
"Hunter...I hope you understand this is important..." Hayley said.

POV: Hunter.

I felt a chill down my spine as Hayley spoke and Donato looked away, he looked stressed and prepared about something. "What are you two trying to say?" I asked.
"We are about to engage in a bloody war, a truly bloody war, Hunter," Hayley said and I nodded.

"It's the Giordanos..." Donato said.
"THE Giordanos?!!" I spoke up loudly and nodded.
"Now you know this just got more jumbled...and dangerous," Hayley said. "So, we thought you both should not be in the middle of this..." She continued and I was left speechless.

"What do you mean by that, Hayls?" Jewel asked.
"I mean-" I cut Hayley off.
"She wants us to go away...they both want us to get away from this situation," I said to her and stood up.

"What the fuck...no, not happening," Jewel said and went upstairs.
"Jewel-" Hayley said and stood up after her.
"You guys are geniuses to think we will agree to that," I said and eye-rolled. Then I went down the hall, making my way to one of the guest rooms.

I knew Jewel would talk about it if I go to our room and I don't want to have any argument or hurt her with my loud words. So I came here instead.

POV: Hayley

I sighed and turned to Dona. "What now?" I asked. He nodded his head side to side, indicating a feeling of disappointment. "Was wishing this wrong, Amore?" I asked him.
