Until I found you: Stephan Sanchez

POV: Hayley

"Where have you been?" I asked Dona as he entered the room after hours. He didn't answer as he closed the door shut and took off his jacket. It was chilly here as it was raining.
"I was downstairs, Amore. Arranging supplies for our stay." He said and took off his shirt.

"Turn up the heat?" I asked him.
"No, it's fine." He said and came and sat beside me. "What have you been doing while I was gone?"

"I just unpacked, arranged the closet, and took a shower," I said and hesitated for a moment. He snuggled onto my lap and I ran my fingers through his hair. "I have the tests out on the bathroom counter."

I blurted out and felt him sigh. He kissed my thigh and snuggled again. "Do you want to take them now?" He asked.
"I was about to ask you that. I can't decide, I'm just not brave enough." He looked up at me confused.

"You think you're not brave enough to do those tests?" He asked and sat up straight. "I've never heard you say you're not brave enough."

"I can't help but feel..." I stopped in between. He put his hand on my cheek and caressed the high point of my cheek with his thumb.
"Tell me." He assured me.
"I do not want to take decisions swiftly and then end up as a bad parent. You know like mom and Ma..."

"Marcus." He completed my sentence. I sighed. "You won't end up like them." He kissed my forehead. "I won't let you, Assassino." He chuckled softly and got off the bed.

"Where?" I asked.
"Come on, you gotta do some tests." He said and got me out of bed. I took a deep breath as we both walked into the bathroom.

I looked at the time, it was almost time for dinner. "Take the cap off and..." He read the instructions.
"Dona..." I said and rubbed his forearm. "Let's do this after dinner."

"You're avoiding it now, Hayls." He claimed and held my hand.
"I'm not...I just need time to prepare." I said. He snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Fine, after dinner." He said and kissed my collarbone. He gazed at it with his teeth, making me giggle. He looked at me and then left a soft kiss on my ear. "Semplicemente perfetto." He whispered.

He cupped my chin in his left hand and kissed me shut. I kissed him back as he swiped the tip of his tongue on my lips. I snaked my arms around his neck and let his tongue enter my mouth, making out with him.

"Meaning?" I asked after a few minutes as we stopped.
"Just perfect." He kissed my cheek and pecked my lips. "Go downstairs, I'll just wash up and be right there."

He said and went to the back of the bathroom, towards the shower. I left the bathroom and went downstairs. The food was set on the table and I saw no one there. Where did everyone go? I sighed and turned on the lights in the dining room.

I saw unlit candles on the table. A candlelight dinner? I thought and chuckled. I took the lighter from the kitchen and lit the candles, and then turned off the lights. They gave enough glow to make the dinner pleasurable.

POV: Donato

I stopped on the staircase and observed her lighting all the candles on the table. With each candle lit, the room became calm and warm. She roamed around the table, lighting every candle up and setting them correctly on the table.

I know my decision. I thought. Whatever happens, I won't ever have enough will to leave her. I'm madly and deeply in love with every scenario that has her in it.
