A week later

Lilac's Pov

It's been a week since the accident, and I am finally able to go home.

The accident I had was really serve and I needed help the whole time. The only good thing is that Aiden's baby is gone. The week full of pain was worth it, I guess.

I know it sounds cruel and selfish, that I'm happy that the baby is gone, but I did what I had to do. I couldn't have lived with this baby; I would have hated it. And why should I give this baby a life full of hate. I just ended it where it had to be ended. 

The only thing Alex did for the whole week, was apologizing a lot, every single day to be specific. And I accepted it. I don't hate him, I just can't hate him, because I love him. I love him so much. Yes, I don't know him that well, but we actually got closer, and he makes me feel safe and protected.

Others may think I am stupid for accepting Alex's apology, but I'm not. I saw the regret he had. I knew that Alex had something different from the beginning, he was just suppressing what he felt. I just knew that he had something good in him.

And since a week, Alex tries to control himself around me, which actually leaves me in awe.

Sometimes when I raise my voice at him, I see the anger rising up, but before he does something he walks away to protect me.

Well and I happened to fall for him, like he did for me.

I actually never thought that he would also fall for me. He was so distant and cold to me at first, but I guess he was kind of afraid of his feelings.

Sometimes it feels like I can see through Alex, like I know how he feels, even though he's acting differently, but at times I can't recognize the Alex, that I know.

"Angel?" Alex asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"You okay? You've been deep in thought. I called for you like three times."

"I'm sorry. I was just thinking about something." I said smiling at him.

"Alright." he said not pushing me further to tell him something. He really tries to be at his best with me, by not invading my privacy and just being understanding towards me.

"And Lilac, we need to get you ready for the checkup, so we can finally leave the hospital."

"Okay, but can you help me to the bathroom?" 

"Sure thing love" he said helping me out of bed and walking me towards the bathroom while I was holding onto him.

I was kinda beginning to feel happy after the accident, how ironic.

Maybe pain is worth the wait to get happy.

Alex sat me down on the toilet and looked at me with a worried look, holding his hand on my forehead.

"Lilac are you not feeling well? You keep on zooning in and out." 

"I'm okay really." I said kissing his cheek. "I'm going to take a shower now." I added.
