His Light

First date

Lilac's Pov

It was the next morning, as I woke up, it was already 1 pm, sun was shining past the curtain, right into my face. I was in Alex's bed and he was already gone, like always. I didn't like it when he left for his business or left in general. I was still wearing the clothes from yesterday and Alex probably just didn't wanted to change the clothes without my consent. God I really love him. He's so understanding.

After a while I just stood up and changed into black joggers matching it with a black sweater.

And then I just brushed my teeth and made my way downstairs.

As I got out of Alex's room, a beautiful smell hit my nose.

I just made my way to the kitchen, following the smell. And as I entered the kitchen, everyone was gone, there was just Alex making breakfast. His exposed back was the only thing facing me and I just walked silently closer to him. I watched him for a short while, seeing his muscles flex while cooking. God, I could drool just by seeing his well built body.

And the next moment I just hugged him from behind, leaning my head against his back.

At first he tensed and then relaxed immediately as he realized it was me. I suddenly felt a hand on mine, lifting it up and kissing it gently.

"Morning love" Alex said, while continuing making breakfast.

"Morning" I muttered in a sleepy voice, yawning afterwards.

"You can go to bed, I will finish and bring it upstairs" he responded.

"No, I want to stay with you" I said hugging him a little tighter. I am already so attached to Alex, that I couldn't imagine a world without him. I really like to be close to him.

"Okay then." He said as I kept hugging him, while he made the batter for my favorite breakfast...waffles.

After some time, he put the batter into the waffle iron and turned to me, lifting me up and placing me on the cleaned counter.

He was now standing in between my legs, and I just smiled at him.

"We are going out today, at 4 pm to be specific" Alex suddenly said.

"Why?" I asked irritated of his sudden statement.

"I promised to make it up to you didn't I? What man would I be if I lied to you, angel."

"But...I don't know-" I began but was cut if by him.

"-Look angel, I know it's your first date, but you will be amazing. You will look flawless and beautiful, I know it." he said convinced, giving me a kiss on the lips.

I kissed him back and hugged him tightly by his neck.

"Thank you, baby" I said, hugging him by his neck.

"What did you call me" Alex asked smirking.

"What do you mean?" I asked back, looking at him and blushing. I know what he meant, but I was suddenly embarrassed about calling him 'baby'.

"You know what I mean. It's what you called me just a few seconds ago."

"Sorry." I just said looking down embarrassed, he then gently grabbed my chin, lifting my head up. I looked deep into his eyes, his beautiful eyes.

"It's totally fine you can call me that, if it's you." Alex said.

I was not just looking into his eyes, I was getting lost in them. Every single time. 

I'm so in love with him.

Suddenly I felt his other hand cupping the side of my face as his thumb brushed over my cheek over and over again.
