Fear

Lilac's Pov

"I'm on time" a heavy breathing voice said, and as I opened my eyes again, I saw Rowan trying to fight off Aiden. Aiden was wounded his arm bleeding, and then I knew, that the shot wasn't fired, from the gun in my hands, it was Rowan, who had stormed in, knocking Aiden down and managing to wound him.

I threw the gun I had in my hands immediately to the floor, hugging Alex with all the strength left in me. 

"I thought...I was going to lose you" I muttered, crying into Alex's firm chest. 

"It is over now, I've got you" Alex said, kissing the top of my head with so much tenderness.

"Alex...take Lilac and get out of here" Rowan said, still trying to hold down Aiden. Aiden's gun was in the corner of the room, and I immediately picked it up just in case, Alex took his gun in one hand and firmly took my small hand with his other hand, as we run out of the room. The warehouse was full of dead mafia members not only from Aiden's or James' mafia, but also Alex's. 

"LILAC YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ESCAPE ME AGAIN! I WILL KILL YOUUU" Aiden yelled, while trying to fight off Rowan.

"Alex...James is still here" I said, being out of breath while we run, I was tired and didn't know how far my legs would take me. And the cold air around here, was freezing. 

"Fuck it, I need you to be safe" Alex said, ignoring my statement completely. "I will bring you somewhere safe and come back here to kill all of them." Alex stated, while we run, through the narrow hallways of the warehouse. My breathing was heavy, my chest heaving up and down while my heart was racing.

As we run further, there were stairs leading out of here. 

But as we run out of the warehouse, I realized that this place was really like an underground warehouse, just like a bunker. 

"Alex..." I said, out of breath, my voice weak lacing with pain. My whole body was hurting, I felt still some sort of wetness in between my legs, probably blood. My baby was in danger, so was Alex. 

Alex still dragged me, running to get me out of here safe, as suddenly my hand slipped out of his while I stumbled, falling to the floor, black dots appearing in my vision.

"Fuck Lilac" Alex said, rushing back to my side and lifting me up bridal style and running on. Through a part of the forest.

"Alex leave, it's too dangerous, please leave me. And tell all of your men to withdraw." My vision was blurry and the only thing that was keeping me up was the adrenaline running through my veins.

"I just got you back, and I will get you out of here Lilac, I promised you. I will save you and our child." Alex said reassuring me. "I'm not going to lose you Lilac, not now, not ever."

I wrapped my arms for support around Alex's neck, as he carried me while running.

After some time of running, Alex slowed down. I slightly looked around, and we were at a huge gate. The air chilly, making goosebumps appear on my skin.

"FUCK YOU ZAC" Alex suddenly yelled, making me gently press my face further into his chest. I was so afraid of losing anyone of them today. And even seeing Alex being uneasy, gave me also a queasy feeling.

All of sudden, a loud engine sound filled the air, and then a car came speeding up the road, stopping abruptly in front of us.

"Sorry...Aiden's men are everywhere, even some of James' men." Zac explained also breathing heavily, and Alex just laid me into the backseat and also got in, placing my head gently into his lap, while one of his hands began caressing my belly.
