Unwanted guest

Alex's Pov

After Zac and I left for the airport, I couldn't stop thinking about Lilac.

I saw how scared she was just by knowing that I will be gone, even though it was just for a few days.

But I had to leave, this meeting was important, and there was a lot on the line. And Lilac's safety is priority.

But I still don't like the fact that I had to leave her, while she was feeling ill. I wanted Lilac to see a doctor, but I didn't wanted to force her. She's scared I know that and I really want to make everything easy for her. 

After I managed to share my past with Lilac, it felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Lilac was so understanding, while I was being so vulnerable. And I couldn't imagine someone else then her. She is mine. She's my other half. 

How I wish that her and my mom could meet. My mother would love her so much, but sadly that will not happen. I lost my mom and now I can't lose my light. I can't, and never will lose Lilac, I would rather die, than lose her.

I will try to show my vulnerable side only to her, and no one else. I hate to show just a glint of weakness, but for Lilac, for my love, I would do it over and over again.

After we reached the airport, my private jet was already ready waiting for us. Zac took our suitcases and carried them to the jet, and after we settled into our seats, the pilot didn't wait but   took off.

It was an 6 hour flight, and I just took my laptop checking my drugs and weapon stocks, or just business stuff in general. And I especially prepared myself for that meeting and that "compromise" Aiden's men were going to offer. I hate uninvited guests.

A few hours passed by, and Zac and I were still working and preparing.

"Zac, can you check the security cameras of the mansion." I asked, I just wanted to check if everything is secure, and if my office in the mansion is as I left it. 

The mansion has a lot of cameras, I need them just in case something is going on at the mansion while Im not there.

"Sure Alex" Zac answered and turned back to his laptop.

A few minutes passed by and Zac suddenly yelled "WHAT THE FUCK".

"What is it?" 

"There is someone sneaking around the mansion Alex." 

"Show it to me!" I said an urgency in my voice. Zac placed his laptop next to mine and played the tape of the security camera again. It was a masked person, wearing all black, just like a creepy silhouette.

That person was roaming around the house and checking the doors and windows.

"Who the fuck could that be?" I asked. I was suddenly feeling really worried about the fact that Lilac was not with me. I really trust my men especially Rowan, but I can't bare the thought about losing her.

"Got no idea" Zac said.

"How long till we land?"

"15 minutes" Zac stated.

I just nodded. The only thing we could do is wait and keep an eye on the security cameras. After Zac took his laptop and settled back into his seat again, he get back to work just like me.

"Zac, I think we need to triple the security in the mansion." I said.

"Yeah, till we figure some things out, we have to keep an open eye on that unwanted guest."

"Did you look at older footage or is it the first time we caught that son of a bitch on camera?"

"Give me a sec" Zac said and looked some things up. Then he turned back to me.
