"We're almost there! I can see Lumiose Tower!" Milli yelled.
We were coming up on Lumiose City as we entered the Kalos Region. Below on the ground, at the city's streets, looked like scenes out of a movie. Chaos. Pure chaos. Team Ion grunts were attacking people, and the people either ran or battled back. Multiple explosions went off at the ground level. It was a total war zone.
We landed on the ground, and I returned Dragonite and Aerodactyl.
"Come on! We've gotta get to Xeno!" Milli yelled as he began running ahead.
"Wait for us Milli!" I exclaimed but Milli was already gone.
"Pin missile!" We heard Team Ion grunts yell.
"Cac!" We heard a group of Cacturne cry out as the fired pin missiles into a group of Mega Evolved Pokémon.

"Alakazam no!"
"Salamence stay strong!"
"You can do it Swampert!" Their Trainers yelled trying to fight back, but they were out numbered.
"Manectric thunderbolt!" Another grunt yelled.
"Mane!" A Manectric cried as it blasted a Mega Banette, sending it flying.

"Banette no!" Banette's trainer exclaimed.
"We've gotta help them Preston!" I yelled.
"What about Milli-?!" Preston said but a nearby explosion interrupted him, knocking us to the ground.
"Take them now!" One of the grunts said, who I recognized as Eugene.
"Yessir!" The other grunts exclaimed, pulling out their red rifles and blasting the Mega Pokémon, forcing them out of their Mega forms, and draining away their life force.
"Good." Eugene said as their life force energy was absorbed into their rifles. "Send the energy to Lumiose Tower, then get right back to work!"
"No!" I exclaimed as the Pokémon fell to the ground lifeless. Their trainers cried and shook their bodies, trying to wake up their deceased Pokémon.
