It had been two days since Elizabeth last saw Meliodas, she was growing more and more worried, she'd also gotten a new job as a cashier even tho the money Meliodas gave her could last her four more weeks however, she had barely spoken since Meliodas left, only speaking when necessary, there was also a coworker who had a tendency to flirt with her his name was Alex, however she'd discovered that she had feelings for Meliodas but she didn't know what they were, she thought that she just had a crush on the sweet blonde.

Elizabeth POV

I was sitting on a bench outside the store I was working at on break wondering what I could've done to upset Meliodas, did i do something? Did I say something? Oh wait I should try to text him with the phone he gave me, so I pulled it out and opened the tasting app and opened the chat box,

*Hey Meliodas where are you have I done something to make you upset with me?* I texted him hoping for a reply but after a minute I had to go back to work,

but a half hour after while I was working my phone dinged, but because I was working I had to ignore it so i muted it, and besides it was probably just a notification on how the weather is gonna be.

After a while Alex came and started talking to me,

"hey Elizabeth I was wondering after work wanna get coffee or something with me?" he asked smiling,

"oh no thank you I have to get home right after work" I said softly,

"oh actually I have stuff to today anyway....... Hey I got an even better idea lets spend Halloween together.... Maybe a movie and dinner?" he asked me leaning on his elbow,

"I'm sorry Alex but No Thank You" I said getting back to work, he sighed and walked away, but the mention of Halloween made me miss Meliodas even more,

when I was finally off work I packed my stuff and walked home.

Once home I put my stuff down and went to take a shower, once finished I slipped on some panties and a oversized hoodie Meliodas had gotten me, I then went and sat on the couch, deciding to check my phone I grabbed it out of my bag and turned it on, about to check how my work hours are and I find myself staring at 9 text messages,

*No you've done nothing wrong I'm just busy* 5 hours ago

*hey do you need more money so you can pay for things?* 5 hours ago

*Elizabeth?* 5 hours ago

*Hey are you alright?* 5 hours ago

*are you mad at me?* 3 hours ago

*?* 2 hours ago

*Plz answer me I need to know that your okay* 1 hour ago

*Elizabeth I'm coming over to check on u* 30 minutes ago

*Elizabeth i was just at your house and your not there
where r u?* 10 minutes ago

*Hi and no I'm not mad at you and yes I'm okay and I was at work now I'm home sorry I didn't respond sooner* I texted him seeing him immediately come online,

*Holy shit you gave me a heart attack I'm coming over* he responded almost immediately, I was happy that he was coming over.

A couple minutes passed and suddenly there was knocking on the door I went over and opened it and got instantly tackled into a hug, he held me tightly with his nose buried in the crook of my neck before pulling back with a stern look on his face,

"you scared the shit out of me don't pull that ever again" he said sternly,

"okay I'm sorry Meliodas I didn't mean to please don't be mad at me" I said sniffling slightly while his look softened and he smiled and pulled me back into the hug,
