  ~(Y/n)'s p.o.v~

I've been here in Sunagakure for five days now and I am currently getting ready to head back home. "Hey (Y/n). If you want to set camp up in a decent spot today you'd better get going, the sun's begging to lower. Or of course you're more than welcome to stay here for a couple more days," Temari insisted as she leaned up against the door frame of the guest room in their house. After my first night, Gaara let me rest in their guest room, and in the morning the three siblings all agreed that I should stay with them rather than go back to the hotel room.

I had tried to tell them it was fine, and that I didn't want to intrude anymore than I already had, but those three are stubborn. It took most of my second day here to fix up the hotel room, but after that fiasco, I was mainly left alone until meal times when one of the three siblings would come to join me, mainly it was Kankuro who now seemed to always try and make me drink water. Poor guy, I think I traumatized him that first day. The heat exhaustion was more because I was weak due to lack of sleep, not really because I forgot to hydrate, but I didn't feel like explaining that to him, so I just played along and thanked him for the water each time.

My days after were spent running, training, and playing with the village children. That was something new to me. In Konoha, minus the children in Konohamaru's grade, children don't tend to come near me because of the ninetails. Same song, different verse if you know what I mean, but here it was different. These children only saw me as a ninja from a different village, and not as a monster either. It was honestly comforting, and I was shocked at how easy it was for me to get along with them. And they were good practice for figuring out who the real 'me' was.

I giggled and shook my head at Temari. "Don't tempt me like that Temari. If I had time to, I'd love to stay here with all of you for a bit longer. However, it's time for me to grow up a bit, and to do that I need more training with a master. Also you've seen how busy our village has been, I feel guilty enough as it is for leaving them a man down. As for traveling worries," I began as I pulled out one of my transportation kunai. "I've got that covered. With this, I'll make a three day trip into a one day trip," I explained.

Temari's eyes widened, "that jutsu of yours is insane. Can you really reach Konohagakure from here?" she asked me. I shrugged my shoulders as I finished packing up my stuff and tossed my bag onto my back. "Don't know. Only way to find out is to try," I admitted as I gave her a mischievous grin. She sighed and shook her head before stepping out of the way so I could walk into their kitchen.

"Well, no matter how far it takes you, you make sure to come back and visit soon, understand?" She asked me. "Okay, okay I understand. Oh, by the way. When I do get to come back, do you want me to bring Shikamaru with me as well?" I asked, speeding up my words in hopes that I'd catch her off guard. "Yes... ah wait! No! (Y/n)!" she shouted as she tried to grab me. I easily dodge her, while laughing at my success.

I waved goodbye to Kankuro and Gaara, who had been waiting for me by the front door and then closed my eyes while placing my hands together connecting my pointer and middle fingers to concentrate on my chakra. It took me a moment to really sense it, but the second I caught a hint of my chakra, I pulled myself towards it.

As I was pulling myself towards my chakra, something happened that I had almost forgotten about entirely. I lost sight of the chakra, and suddenly went face first into a tree. I hadn't done something like this since I was still in the academy and began my training on this jutsu, so the impact plus the nostalgia left me stunned enough to not catch myself in time before I fell to the ground. "Owowowow," I groaned as I slowly sat up and rubbed my nose. It was tender now, but thankfully not broken. I looked around and realized I had somehow gotten off course and landed at a beach. How the hell? I wasn't even sure which country I was in right now!!!
