The Chunin Exams part 2

~(Y/n)'s p.o.v.~

I started off the day feeling a little bit less nervous for the second stage of the Chunin exams than I had been for the first one, but that all changed the closer I got to the location. I had no idea what this place was, but for some reason it gave me the creeps. Like sure it just looked like a dense forest with a tall fence around it, but the question was.... WHY the fence!? That freaked me out more because didn't that mean that there was something in there worth keeping in there!? I really hoped our next test wasn't to find some time of gross slug or something. Tomboy or not, I ain't touching something slimy fucking screw that shit!

I got to the location before Naruto's gang and I was trying to keep a distance from him just to make sure that I really didn't try to protect him, but seeing as we hadn't officially started the second exam, and he was the one who approached me, I decided to just stay there and listen to him complain about me waking him up too early. Wasn't my fault that he woke up from me dropping my bottle of shampoo in the shower. The bathroom makes everything ten times louder! Besides he would have had to get up in ten minutes anyway, so I don't see the real issue here. Thanks to me, he was able to eat a proper breakfast rather than ramen and spoiled milk!

Either way, once he realized that I had tuned him out, he huffed and focused his attention on the forest area. No doubt wondering what was making all those wild noises within it's trees. "This whole place just completely creeps me out," Sakura whined, but honestly I was in the same boat. There was no telling what kind of weird creatures lived in there. Especially what devil form of spiders there could be! God I fucking hated those creepy bastards!

Anko giggled at Sakura's discomfort, "it should, they call it the Forest of Death, and soon enough you're gonna find out why" she claimed. "Ggrreeeaaatttt. So there's definitely spiders," I thought to myself as I cringed on the inside, but then Naruto made me cringe on the outside. He placed his hands on his hips, and wiggled them around while mocking Anko's voice, "they call it the Forest of Death, and soon enough you're gonna find out why," he stated.

I looked over at Sasuke and mouthed the sentence, 'I'm disowning him', to him gaining a smirk from Sasuke as we both continued to want to smack Naruto into the next series! "Do your worst! You're not gonna scare me away! I can handle anything," Naruto shouted at her. "Except keeping your mouth shut," I mentally told him.

Anko smiled at Naruto and tilted her head to the side, "so, looks like we've got ourselves a tough guy," she stated before throwing a kunai right for his face. The movement was fast and out of the blue, but with Hiruzen's training, I was able to see them just enough to know that Naruto wasn't in complete danger of the kunai. I watched as it barely grazed his cheek landing on the other side of him rather than between us, and then Anko appeared behind him.

"You tough enough to handle this? You're not afraid are you? Tough guys like you usually leave their blood all over this forest" she whispered to him as she began to rub her finger in the blood coming from the new cut on his cheek. Even if he was in the wrong, and totally deserved what she was doing to him, it took just about everything in me ~and Sasuke's hand on my shoulder~ not to say anything back at Anko. Her about to play with his blood was the final straw for me, but then a grass ninja that I partly recognized appeared behind Anko. The ninja was holding Anko's kunai from earlier with her tongue!

Which was more than just a little strange to me. I had escorted that group of ninja, but nothing hinted at her being able to use a jutsu like that and just WHY would someone want a jutsu like that. THINK OF THE GERMS! THE BACTERIA! Also... was she that scary of a talker last time or was that just my nerves getting to me?

Soon their little moment of tension was up, and Anko was back on track. "Seems like everyone here today is quick tempered. There must be something in the air," she claimed as she got back in front of the crowd. "Well your kunai for one lady!," I thought to myself. Why did Hiruzen Sensei put the sadists in charge of these exams!?
