AfterDeath| Tortured pt2

Geno had been undercover for nearly two month. Thankfully only one more body showed up, but it all seemed so sudden. The body wasn't as badly mutilated as the others, which had only been progressively been getting worse, and there was no sign of them being held for too long. In fact, the person had only been missing for a few days! Geno was thinking that the killer was either growing bored, going on the run, or had found a new, "better" prey.

Geno could only hope that the killer was caught, even if it wasn't for the murders that they had been doing. He couldn't stand to think of how that bastard sleeps at night... Ending so many lives. Sure, none of them were in good positions, but now they will never have the potential of a better life!

"Aww~ What's with that face?" A cool voice called lowly.

The one eyed skeleton blinked and looked up to see Reaper. The guy he met a while ago. They had been meeting up at the wall and chatting a bit.

"Just... Thinking about work." The bloody monster mumbled, carefully pulling at his shirt. He hates going undercover like this.

The dark clothed skeleton sighed some, shaking his head. "All you seem to think about is work. What's so special about work?" He mused, quirking an eyebrow at the other.

The shorter skeleton snorted with laughter. Yeah, even when he's focused on trying to stop this bastard, he's already consulting on another case. He needs to get a day off. An actual day off, not an undercover day off.

"Yeah... I need a day off... But without me, there wouldn't be much getting done." He rubbed his face, wincing a bit as his hand fizzed at the magical glitch hiding his eye.

The taller skeleton gently patted the smaller's head, smirking a little. "Why don't we go to the Star Side? Get some food and spend time in the parks?"

Geno gave him a skeptical look. Now, for the past month since the two met, Reaper had been flirting with Geno, but to escalate it to an actual date?! He wasn't ready for that, undercover or not, he just wasn't!

"I... Don't think I have time. I have to head in soon." The white jacketed monster muttered, moving away from the other. He then began to walk away. His soul pounded in his chest though. He wanted to experience an actual date or even something close to that! "I-I'll tell you when I get a day off." He said, not turning around.

Reaper blinked some as he watched the shorter monster basically book it down the street and out of his view. He then chuckled, finding it so cute~ They were just so interesting~

A lustful spike formed in the dark skeleton's body and soul, his urge to just take the cutie was overwhelming! Yet, he had to calm down. Even if no one was going to report him kidnapping his prey, the cameras in the area would most certainly make it easy for police to find him. Now, he can't have that~ That wouldn't give him enough time~

Ink and Blue gave their leader a confused look as he worked on his computer, dark circles under his eyes. He looked like the dead almost and him being a skeleton monster certainly didn't help. For three days straight he had been working, coffee and caffeine being his lifeline at this point!

"Uh... Ge... Why... Why are you working so much?" The rainbow eyed skeleton asked, carefully placing a hand on Ge's shoulder.

"I... Want a day off... But must..." The taller skeleton's eye drooped heavily, his head beginning to bob before he quickly downed another caffeine high coffee. "I-I'll rest after this." He grumbled, shaking off the other's hand.

The two looked at each other before they went to the boss. He really did need to rest, and get a day off. They can handle time without him. Getting him to full health is what's more important.

Within the hour, the two had gotten the other out of the police station and on his way to his apartment. He was tired as hell, yet he wanted to meet up with Reaper. He actually missed their conversations while the flirt finished his coffee and pastry.

Reaper gritted his teeth some, annoyance forming in his gut. This was going to be the third day that his Geno had left him alone. Sure, it could be Geno's job, but come on! No one's job keeps you for three days in a row! That's not possible! Not safe!

Just as he was about to leave, maybe to find someone else to play with, a small thing bumped into him. Now, both of them were still standing, but the tiny thing had wrapped its arms around him, making the tall skeleton look down.

"Sorry... late... Wanna... park..." Geno's good eye fluttered open and close before just staying close, his words slurring together, dropping plenty of them as well.

The dark clothed skeleton's eyes widen as he quickly wrapped his arms more securely around the other. The other looked so tired that they were literally falling asleep in his arms! So freely and openly!

"Hey, why you so sleepy?" He said softly, carefully shaking the other awake.

The bloody skeleton-who wasn't wearing any white clothes besides his stained jacket- groaned, making a face. He then glared at the monster who was keeping him awake.

"Work... I had to... I wanted to..." He began to doze off again, but quickly shook his head in hopes of keeping himself awake. "To go with you... To park... I like you... I don't wanna... lose you..." Whatever was keeping the smaller monster awake the past three days, had finally left. Which caused him to fall, right in to the darker monster's chest.

The dark clothed skeleton blinked some, not having heard those words before. He then smirked, a dark glint in his eyes. Geno honestly shouldn't have came to him so tired and exhausted~ It just made taking him away ever so easier, specially since it was clear they were just simply tired~ And thankfully, Reaper had brought his car that day and his wall didn't have any cameras pointed at or near him!

Picking the sleeping monster up, he made his way to his car. He was glad he kept the house tidy, trying to clean it when his guest is already over would just make it all difficult~
