Ink happily did a few safe tests for Error, which were basic tests that just had them swimming, diving and searching for something.
The glitch hadn't once touched the mer with a needle or knife. Yet, the other hadn't really touched him at all after he had given them somethings to heal their tail.
Error looked up from the paperwork in his hands as he heard the mythical being giving out needy whines. Whines for attention.
Softly a chuckle left his lips, his head tilting up some.
The beautiful being held a pouty look, whining again. They wanted something.
The dark boned skeleton shook his head in amusement, setting his paperwork down to move closer to them.
"What? I'm watching." He joked out.
A bright smile formed almost instantly before the mer-skeleton swam to the top of the tank. They waited for a few minutes before swimming back down with a pout. This got them a raised eyebrow.
"You want to me to go up top?" The doctor asked.
The smile returned with a chirping squeal.
The land-walker chuckled and shook his head. Even still, he made his way to the attached staircase.
When the other saw the land-walker move, they swam up to the top, happily waiting for him.
Once Error was at the top, he sat down. He was in complete arm reach of the mer-skeleton, yet he was completely calm. He trusted that Ink wouldn't bring him up there just to kill him. That'd honestly be rather cruel.
Ink looked up at Error from the water, making a cooing, purr noise. He looked so happy, happy enough that the glitchy skeleton couldn't help but chuckle some.
"You really like my company, huh." A soft smile formed on the two legged skeleton's face. It was soft, but it was so trusting and almost happy.
Ink couldn't stop himself after seeing that smile.
He lunged forward and pressed his lips against Error's, happily pushing his glowing tongue into the land-walker's mouth.
The glitch couldn't move as his mind was still trying to process what was happening to him. There was also a strange feeling flowing throughout his body, a warm and comforting feeling.
Suddenly the sound of a gun going off echoed in the room. The sudden noise pulled both creatures away, Ink falling back into his tank and Error almost sliding down the stairs from how fast he was descending them.
The shock from the mer-skeleton faded quickly, his eyes narrowing on one of the more crude scientists that wanted to dissect the poor creature. That scientist ruined the moment he was having with Error!
The scientist along with a few others, who honestly had nothing remotely nice to say, moved towards their shocked leader.
Error couldn't wrap his fingers around what happened, his head going too fast and too slow at the same time. Everything was muddled together.
The crude co-worker placed a rather gentle hand on his leader's shoulder. It honestly was a surprise to see the dark skeleton so shocked as to be almost frozen like a statue.
However, the second the human's hand touched Error's shoulder, Ink went crazy.
Everyone jumped and stared at the very, very pissed off monster. Their sharp teeth had extended, their eyes glowed with hatred and their fingers had lengthened into talons that could shred through metal.
Ink was banging and clawing against the thick glass, glaring hatefully at the every single one of the doctors that wasn't Error. He wanted Error. He wanted him in the tank, back in his arms!
The mer-skeleton's shrieking an d yowling could only be understood as rage, as the wanting of something. Everyone moved back, that same scientist pulling the stunned Error with them.
The more the glitchy monster was moved away, the louder and more frantic the calls were.
Soon, though, everyone was out of the room and questioning Error. Their voices barely drowned out the desperate, enraged cries of the tailed creature. The noises of everyone though, it was hurting the glitches head, to which his brother and Core noticed.
Quickly, the two pushed everyone away from him, at least a good few inches. Fresh then turned to his brother, noticing how pale the other had gotten.
"Bro, you-" The question wasn't even finished, much less out there, before Error dropped.
Everything just hurt for him.

After what felt like years, the glitchy skeleton started to wake up. Yet, something was wrong almost immediately.
He couldn't breathe.
The dark skeleton gasped and wheezed, his hands instantly going to his throat. Nothing was holding him from breathing there, and moving his hands to his nose, he could feel the rubbery tube.
Yet, he couldn't breathe.
Thankfully, Core was in the room. She was by his side in a minute, dragging with her a tank. The dark skeleton couldn't understand why, but he was getting lightheaded without the air.
Quickly, the grey human pulled Error into the tank after she disconnected him to the machines and air tank.
The dark skeleton barely fitted in the tank, but his comfort had to wait. He could breathe again, just barely.
His body started to ache, like growing pains, yet it was almost worst.
The dark skeleton looked up to the human, watching as her usually stoic expression shifted into concern and worry.
Hurriedly, she pushed him out of the Med bay and down the long hall. The skeleton recognized the hall as the way to get to the Shark Tanks. More specifically, to Ink.
Suddenly, the doctor gagged, his body feeling like lead. Error winced and pushed his head above the water on instinct. The air above stung his face and lungs, burning almost. This forced him back into the water that started to cling and choke him as well.
Error heard a growling shriek, making him look around. He was in the tank room, many of his co-workers were trying to up the stairs, but they even got with arms reach, they were dead.
Abruptly, the dark skeleton was pulled out of the tank. He gasped and retched as he was practically carried to and up the stairs.
This time, Ink was calm. Ink let Core pass as she carried a sick and weak Error to him.
At the top, Ink reached for his land-walker, making desperate squeals that sounded odd to the glitch. The squeals were gurgled with something, something familiar.
"I'm sorry." The grey human whispered to her friend before she handed him to what she could only assume would be his death.
Ink smiled and gently held the oddly smaller Error close. Quickly, he kissed the weak land-walker, swiftly handing them in the large beds of kelp.
The dark skeleton closed his eyes as the comforting feeling filled his body, pushing away the growing pains, even the light headedness from the lack of air.
Soon, the mer-skeleton pulled away, smiling happily as he cupped his prize's cheek.
Weakly, the doctor looked up at Ink. He noted that the mythical creature looked so happy and pleased... So calm and relaxed.
However, that was the last thing Error saw or thought before he blacked out for the night.
