Dust looked down at the small adult, who looked up at him with wide, childish eyes.
"Hello!" They chirped, their voice higher pitch than it should be. "I'm Blueberry, who are you?"
The insane monster frowned, looking down at the small skeleton. They looked so much like his Berry. No, they were his Berry, but...
"You know me..." He whispered softly, sounding annoyed.
Had that bastard of a Doctor hurt his Berry to the point of not remembering him? Brainwashed him even?
Blueberry's eyes widen more before they narrowed in worry.
"I do? I-I'm sorry... I-I had gotten into a-an a-ack..." He stopped for a second to bit his lip, clearly embarrassed on his stumbling.
"You had gotten into an accident?" Worry flooded the taller monster's soul, his anger falling to it.
Softly, Blue nodded, bowing his head.
"Brother says that my memories might come back, but they're taking so long." He pouted at the end, whining a bit.
Dust clenched his hands, but he kept himself visibly calm. He hated that carrot looking bastard, but the tiny skeleton was too innocent. He didn't remember anything yet.
Gently, he knelt before the tiny one and softly smiled.
"Do you feel safe with me?" He asked quietly. He had to know, he just had to know.
The child like monster paused and swayed on his feet some before nodding with a bright smile.
"Yes! I may not remember you, but I know you won't hurt me." The smile was full of innocence, of unknown love and happiness.
Those words made a gentle smile appear on the monster's face. There still was hope for them.

Weeks passed after that first encounter, many days Blueberry would come over and talk with him. Their conversations rarely swayed from innocent, happy things that usually randomly popped into the smaller skeleton's head.
Often though, one of Dust's other sides would appear. The innocent creampuff never seemed to notice, not consciously anyway.
The blue wearing skeleton would always speak in a somewhat normal pitch when he was talking with Cal. Yet, he'd happily go back to talking in his baby voice when Du had appeared. The smooth talking side though usually caused Blue to accidently flirt back, this usually ends with Dust softly laughing and the tiny skeleton being confused.
Still, Dust looked forward to those visits. He loved spending time with his love. He knew even without Berry's memories, that the creampuff would always love him.
Sighing softly, the insane skeleton felt bored. His love hasn't visited him for a few days. He was getting worried about them.
So, he walked to their hidden house. Honestly, did Honey really expect him not to look in secluded areas? Seriously, the horrible doctor was fool for thinking that.
Using the dense forest to hide himself, Dust watched as Honey and Berry tended their small garden. The shorter skeleton looked unhappy and rather conflicted.
"Brother, when can I go play in the forest?" The smaller had lost the high pitched voice, he sounded so defeated. It was heart breaking.
The taller skeleton scoffed, standing up to glare at the other.
"The last time you went off, you got lost. And before that, you came home covered in mud. And before that, you had gotten yourself hurt!" The cruel doctor hissed. "The forest is too dangerous. So leave it."
