This one will be in Error's POV. Hope you enjoy!

I yawned lightly, becoming very annoyed with everything. Ever since me and Nightmare had started this war, we hadn't had much time to spend with our mates.

Taking a deep breath, I walked down the long hallways of the Castle that we had built quickly. The Islanders were very kind to do our biding, making sure the Castle was a maze for outsiders, even to themselves.

They were also the soldiers that fought for us; changing, tricking and convincing other mortals to help us and our cause.

One might question on why two powerful Sirens would want to take over the world, well two reasons as to why.

One, it was the humans that had made us the last two. They had hunted us down to near extinction... They had hurt us even though we rarely ever bothered them! Two, we want more power. The more they believe in us as their true Gods or Kings, the stronger we get!

Releasing a deep sigh, I carefully opened the door to my mate's room. Fresh.

It had been three years since I had taken him. Three years he's been trying to fight me and Nightmare. He was a lot harder to control and keep under my spell, but lately he hasn't done much... He rarely spoke or ate... He only did those things when I commanded him to do it... Night's mate too...

I wonder what's wrong with them.

When the door was opened, I froze. Fresh was sitting on the edge of the windowsill.

I opened my mouth to command him down, but... He started singing a human lullaby.

"Rock-a-bye baby, in the treetop.

When the wind blows, the cradle will rock..." He paused, shifting on the sill so his back was on the pane. He held a small bump... He... he was- "When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall.

And down will come baby, cradle and all..."

He stopped, blankingly staring down at his stomach.

Slowly, he started caressing it, the smallest trace of a smile forming on his lips... He doesn't smile at me... He stopped when he realized what we were...

"I don't care if you're his child... I won't let him take you away from me..." He whispered, still lightly caressing the bump.

"Fresh." I called out, that trace of a smile falling instantly.

"Yes." He didn't turn to me.

"Fresh, look at me." I didn't use any magic to command him or such, I wanted to give him at least that freedom.

He turned his head to me and I had to stop myself from wincing.

Fresh's once vibrant eyes were now a dull, lifeless color. His bones were also grey in tone... He didn't look healthy...

"Fresh... Starfish, have you been eating while I was gone?" I took a step towards him, silently readying my strings. He still was at the edge of the window.

"No. I won't eat unless I'm with my cousin." He demanded, his tone changing to the one he used to always use... His defiant tone... I miss that tone.

I sighed heavily, nodding. If it was the only way to feed him and our child, then so be it.

"Come on, Starfish, I'm sure Nightmare and Cross are waiting for us in the dining hall." I gave him a small grin, but he didn't return it, only entering his room again and walking pass me to the hall.

I swiftly followed him, wrapping my arm around his waist. His body tensed, but he didn't try and push it away... That's progress...

True to my words, Nightmare and his mate were already in the dining room, but it seemed that his mate was being a bit picky.
