This is a Betta Fish also called the Siamese Fighting Fish, I think. This one I think is breed for captivity. From what I could read, they can be very hostile, specially the males, but they can also breathe oxygen from both the air and the water. Please correct me if I'm wrong! :) Also, I might make this into a short book. No idea yet. Hope you enjoy. Thank you.

Error slowly woke up to feeling something wrapped around him. That and the feeling of being as stiff as steel.

The glitch groaned some, but it sounded off to his ears. He ignored that, it wasn't really important how he sounded to his own ears, he just needed to figure out where he was.

When the dark skeleton tried to get up, something around his leg area tightened and something much bigger than the skeleton had pulled him down.

The glitch winced softly as the pulling was a bit rough, but it wasn't anything really painful. A soft, mumble was heard by his ears. It sounded oddly deep, almost unnaturally so.

Error shifted some, rubbing his eyes to try and wake up. That was when he felt something weird on his bones. It felt like the air around him was pushing on him, making his movements slow.

"Go back to sleep." The deep voice murmured, the tightening feeling happening again.

The moment the scientist had heard that voice and that tightening feeling, was the moment he slammed his elbow into their ribs.

A harsh yelp sounded from the person as they instantly released their sleeping buddy. The dark skeleton rolled away from them before pushing themselves up. It was quickly noted on how awkward and weightless the ex-solider felt, it wasn't a pleasant feeling.

Quickly, someone grabbed the confused monster by the arms, steadying them. Yet, their touch was unfamiliar and so were their words.

"Betta fish, calm down, you're safe." That same deep voice called out, the hands moving up to Error's face.

Quickly, the dark skeleton smacked the hands away opening his eyes to see the beautiful rainbow eyes of the Mermaid they had caught. Yet they were smiling softly, their sharp teeth seeming less threatening and their hands were cupping Error's face gently.

"I-Ink?"

Said monster nodded, their hands moving from the Doctor's face to their red and black colored hands. Ink then pulled the confused monster back down to the warm rock they both had been sleeping on.

The rock was surrounded by tall and tangled seaweed, but Ink easily pushed through it all. Seaweed was a lot easier to break than mortal rope.

Error looked around him as he stunned quiet. He was underwater being cuddled by a deadly creature, who had them sitting in the middle of a kelp bed.

Blinking some, the dark skeleton finally looked down to see his legs were gone!

A new wave of panic flashed over him as he began to thrash in the other's grip, his new limb whipping about in panic.

Ink tightened his hold on the smaller being, swiftly wrapping his longer tail around the other's to keep them from hurting themselves.

This containment didn't cause the other to calm down. It only caused them to struggle worse, shrill screams of panic. The noise was loud to those who hadn't heard the noise before, but it was pitiful to the true Merman's ears. The noise made him whine some.

"Error, please calm down, you're going to hurt yourself!" The Merman called out, carefully tightening his hold.

The dark skeleton looked up to the other, breathing heavily. The wild panic didn't seem to go away, but their body had stilled.
