I couldn't stop it. I tried. I really did try. Yet, it all failed. It all was for nothing.
Tears just fell from my eyes like a waterfall. They wouldn't stop.
"Please..." I whimpered softly. "Please don't leave me..."
They looked up at me, their eyes dull with pain and happiness. They smiled at me. They wanted to dye so badly.
"It's alright..." Their whispered in such a peaceful tone. "I'll still be here..."
I shook my head, holding their body closer to mine. Pain welled in my heart, spreading to my soul like their red blood. The blood that stained my shirt and shorts. The blood the watered the ground below us.
"N-No," I croaked out. "Please, I need you." Sobs broke through my lips, my body shaking.
They laughed their musical laugh, it was weak, but still there. Still so beautiful.
"I'll be by your side..." Their voice faded, their eyes dulling more. "Till death do us part... Remember?"
I grasped their hand, feeling their cold wedding ring.
"Frisk!" I cried out, tightening my grip as their life finally fell away.
I buried my head into their chest, sobbing loudly. I hated crying, but for them, I'd cry till the whole world was flooded. For them, I'd do anything. Yet, I couldn't save them.
I looked up, my grief turning red. Those bastards. They had taken my love from me. They had robbed me of my world!
"For better or for worse." I whispered lowly, my voice filled with venom. "I'll make you feel my pain."
