Reboot winced as he walked through the woods. Eraser was rough with him last night... He didn't like it... He pleaded for the other to stop, but it was futile... Like always.

The black boned monster wished he never started dating that horrible, horrible being! But, he fell for his charms and false words, and hidden lies... He fell for it hard...

Tears gently fell from his, tears he wiped away swiftly.

After all the years he's spent with that a-hole, he's became more like him... Showing less emotion, even becoming numb to the abuse and... harm.

The white monster doesn't even ask where his boyfriend goes anymore!

But, he doesn't have to... The two of them live in the suburbs near a wild and dangerous forest, all of Reboot's friends back in the city, all forgotten... Because Eraser told them off.

The artist continued walking until he entered a wide clearing that had a large cherry blossom tree in the middle. Someone was sitting under it.

They were small, maybe a child, but the other couldn't tell from the dark jacket they wore and the fact they had their back to him.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to say something, the faint scent of blood filled his nose along with the softest whimpers of crying.

They were hurting... And hurting badly.

"Hey..." Boots whispered, silently walking over to them.

They jumped, swiftly turning around to reveal two beautiful eyes.

The right was a dull lavender color while the other was a bright cyan color. Then their soft, adorable face that looked so squeezable, if it weren't for the fact they were a skeleton.

"Hey," The artist whispered again, cautiously sitting down, wincing once more.

They noticed, as they frowned, the tears in their eyes still leaving.

"H-Hi..." Their voice was young sounding, young and broken. It pained the older to hear it.

"My name's Reboot, what's yours?" He asked gently, offering a kind smile.

"H-Halluciv..." They flinched when they said their name.

"Why don't I call you Lucy or Lulu instead?" Boots murmured, stilling offering that kind smile.

Their mouth twitched into a small smile before it fell.

"I-I... I w-would li-like that..." They whispered, pulling their knees close to their chest.

The black boned skeleton frowned, his yellow and blue eyes showing understanding and pity. He knew what was wrong already.

"Someone hurt you, didn't they?" It wasn't really a question, it was just a soft voice that wanted to be heard.

Lucy bit their lip, but the tears blinded their already impaired sight.

Whimpering, they nodded. They couldn't understand how someone could do that... They had trusted them too! They had thought they understood!

The kind stranger opened their arms, their smile turning into a frown.

The once innocent skeleton leaped into them, they looked so welcoming and kind and gentle... All they needed at the moment was that... Was that kindness and gentleness that the bad person hadn't ever thought of...

"I understand..."

Those two words broke the floodgates on both of them. They both cried into each other, silently reveling in each other's pain and misery, but also in each other's kindness and understanding.

After that, they always saw each other. They usually talked about their abusive partners, though sometimes Reboot would teach the younger how to fight... How to defend against someone as best as they could.

Each time they saw each other, they fell more and more in love, they fell for their true kindness and compassion; they fell for their innocence and protectiveness. They fell in love with the real person, who laughed and cried with them, who comforted them in their need and supported their hobbies and interests... They weren't at all like those boys.

And when they finally confessed in mid-Spring the year that followed... The night was blissful and young, it was kind and charming... It was neither cold nor hot. The loose petals of the cherry tree fell in a curtain of loving pink, that swayed and dipped to an untold song.

It was that night, that Reboot and Lucy gave each other what their partners could never have; their true innocence and their unquestionable love.

The loose clothes they wore fell away and all that seemed to be there was them and their happiness. Was them and their greatest joy.

They weren't doing it for sex, lust or just to get back at the ones that hurt them. No, they did it to fully become one, to show the other that their trust and love was pure and true. They gave each other their souls, their life and their devotion to one another, something that not even death could destroy.

Though, two beings of Destruction watched. Watched with malice and anger. Watched with barely controlled rage.

One wore all white, bearing a silver crown, the other wore beige and white, his eyes dull with color. Both were unhappy, both were extremely enraged, but they stayed where they were.

The one that wore white was jealously angry that some little weak, nerd was able to make someone as innocent as Halluciv to give up his female form. It was the same form that he had tried many times to claim, all without such luck.

The one in beige was angered that someone he thought was loyal had done this to him. He thought he taught them what happened when they went behind his back!

Yet, they both saw it. They both saw the same happiness and naïve innocence that drew them to the submissive males. The same things that had long ago vanished into nothing. As they continued their love, under a blossom tree in the dangerous forest, with the stars as witnesses, they only gasped and lightly moaned each other's names in kindness.

Lucy and Reboot were finally one, they were no longer two separate people... They were happy and a feeling of freedom came from it.

When they were done, when they gave shuddering gasps of love, they stayed that way. They were smiling at each other, all the little scars and bruises on their bodies no longer there. They were once again without the tyrants in their lives.

"We're going to have to tell them, Lulu..." Boots muttered, caressing his naïve lover.

"But they'll hurt us..." The weaker one whimpered, leaning into the hand that offered warmth and safety.

"No, they'll hurt me... You will run away from here, okay?"

Lulu frowned, looking into those peaceful yellow and blue eyes. They only held gentle seriousness.

"But... But what about you?" Worry was clear, yet the other simply only smiled.

"I'll come back, I'll come back for you once I'm done. I won't let them take me away from the one that had taken my soul. I won't let them touch what belongs to me... I'll come back for my love."

Those words were all Halluciv needed to believe in his lover. He knew they would keep them, that Reboot would find him once more, find him and love him the same way.

So, once they were cleaned and dressed, he ran. He knew the forest well, as did his lover. He knew all of the best hiding places, he knew where the forest ended and how long it would take to get there. As did his lover.

All he had to do was wait... Reboot would come back... He would always come back to his one and only love. Always.
