Reaper had somewhat well known amongst the "Gods". However, no one had actually seen or heard of his AU before, so it was hard to honestly say he was real.

That didn't stop Ink though. When they had heard of Reaper, they were fascinated by him. The stories and rumors floating around the mysterious skeleton, the mystery that hung over him like a cloud! It was all so wonderful for the soulless creator!

Then they saw him. The cloaked skeleton softly talking to a group of dying children. Their souls were breaking, but not shattering. They were in so much pain, but were so scared to die.

Reaper was there, softly talking with them in such a gentle voice that it was so odd and strange, yet so beautiful.

Ink watched as he soothed the children, letting them know that they were safe and he'd protect them.

It honestly didn't take long before the children listened to him, letting him reap their souls. The Death Sans looked sad, hurt, as he did this though.

With a heavy sigh, the mysterious monster made a flicker-y portal and walked through it into an abyss like place.

The Creator's attention has been peaked. They had to know this Sans more. They had to see them smile and laugh, maybe even get angry!

These desires consumed the Creator to build extravagant worlds to attract the God of Death. This didn't work, not till the world was dying or destroyed.

So, Ink made the next world simple and caring. Again, Reaper didn't show till the world was in need of him. This happened again and again, much to the soulless monster's annoyance.

Yet, as they were making these worlds for the darkly clad skeleton's attention, Reaper was watching them.

He was confused on why the God of Creation was trying to get his attention, specially when the majority of the top "Gods" thought he wasn't even real.

Gulping softly, he went to the new world the tiny skeleton had created. It was a simple, peaceful world. All the people were short little things that looked liked children, plenty of them acted like that too.

It all was so sweet and simple.

Reaper didn't let any of them touch him, but he was still sweet towards them, gentle in a different way. He also helped them with whatever he could, even gardening. This task was difficult for him, but he managed by using his levitation magic.

Ink happily watched all of this till they felt it was time to introduce themselves to the other.

"Hi!" They chirped loudly. "I'm Ink!" They quickly held their hand out, to which the other floated away from.

The darkly powered monster stared at the other in a shy, timid way. It was kind of adorable.

Gulping some, the taller monster, carefully floated to the ground. He looked hesitant as he shakily reached a hand down to touch a buding flower. Yet, the second his fingertips just brushed again the petals, the beautiful flower dusted, the surrounding area darkening with death.

"P-Please don't touch me." He whispered cautiously.

Ink's eyes widen, their mouth opening some in wonder. They looked like a child during Christmas. It was a different reaction than what Reaper was expecting.

"Whoa, that was amazing! Is that why you only show up to an AU when it's dying?" The Creator looked unfazed by the words that spilled from their mouth, yet they looked even happier, curious in more than one ways.

Quietly, the timid monster nodded, floating a bit more away from Ink. He knew how the little one got when excited... Very touchy and grabby. Not a good combination with his... affliction.

Ink noticed the nervous, scared look and forcibly reeled themselves in. They could see that their excitement was making the other monster uncomfortable. The Creator didn't want to do that.

"So, when were you created?" The bland skeleton asked with a hum.

The whisping God curled his legs close to his body, floating up some so his cloak doesn't touch the ground. His face shifted into mild pain, his hands grabbing the edges of the fabric near his arms.

"A few decades after you and Error started fighting... My AU was created to take in those wondering souls that had survived Error's genocide." The other explained, a wince forming. "Not many souls followed with lightness in them."

Ink's expression softened, an odd, heavy feeling falling into his chest. It sounded like their fight with Error was effecting more monsters than he had originally thought.

Being careful with his movement, the small God moved to the other, reaching a hand out. "It's alright... You won't have to suffer for too much longer." They murmured.

The dark God looked at the hand, not making a move to grab it, yet his dull eyes showed hope. A hope that clearly had vanished after centuries of dealing with the egotistic monsters. A painful hope that would destroy him if broken. Ink can't break this hope.
