Palette giggled softly with Goth, the two smiling widely at each other as they sat under a tree.

The two of them were showing each other embarrassing photos of their siblings, which always made them laugh.

Despite popular belief, Palette was rather shy. Now, he wasn't as shy as Goth, who would literally throw himself into a bush to not be seen, but he was shy. He wasn't as bright or charismatic as his Mother, but he could fake it.

He was a cheerleader, something his mother thought would bring him out of his shell. It did a little, but it also just made him uncomfortable. He had to change his personality to match them, so he wouldn't be an outcast in their group.

The two giggled some more before some shadows were casted over them.

They looked up, cowering slightly at the tall group before them. Their leader was a green-fascia pink parasite.

He looked down at them with a cruel smirk, almost as if he liked them cowering.

"Yo, Cray, what's them?" An idiotic human yelped out, cackling after.

Suddenly, Palette smiled brightly, bouncing up onto his feet. He was still shorter than their leader and most of them, but now he was at least standing.

"Hello!" He chirped happily. "Can we help you guys with something?"

The group snickered while their leader only smirked more.

He leaned down some and shook his head.

"You're cute," He said in an odd tone.

The cheerleader only giggled sweetly, keeping on his fake smile.

"Thank you, you're handsome yourself." Palette chirped in a calm tone.

Quietly, Goth wrapped his arms around his friend's waist, clinging to him as the group cornered them to their tree.

The lime colored skeleton just kept the nice smile on his lips, staring at the taller's forehead. Though it wasn't like he would know that.

The parasite leaned closer to them, forcing the other to look him in the eyes.

He saw the fear in them, but it was different from the fear he usually saw in others. This fear wasn't of him as a species, but of him as a person.

"I'll see you around, little Light~" He cooed before backing away.

Quickly he and his friends let the two be, laughing to themselves. Once they were out of sight, Palette relaxed with a heavy sigh.

Yet, he knew he shouldn't have relaxed.

Almost every day, Cray sought Palette out. Sometimes he would corner the shy skeleton alone and other times with his gang.

It was more intimidating when Cray cornered Palette alone, he always seemed to stare too long when they were alone.

This was one of the times they were alone. It was after cheer practice and Palette had stayed behind longer than the others.

No, his mother had left an hour before him and he could walk home. He just though that the parasite would leave if he saw that he wasn't with the group.

Yet again, it was a stupid plan to begin with. He just wasn't expecting to be physically pinned to the locker room's wall.

Cray held a smug look on his face as he had the cute cheerleader immobilized. It didn't help that they had the cutest, scared look on their face.

"You're just too much~" He cooed lowly, his eyes openly looking down at the tight outfit.

Palette's cheeks flared, his body shivering out of the fear and coldness.

The rude monster chuckled with a smirk. He then kissed the smaller's lips before finally releasing them.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He whispered as his final greeting.

The colorful cheerleader slid down the wall, touching his lips.

That was his first kiss. He wanted his first kiss to be special, with someone special. That bully had stolen his first kiss!

Soft tears fell down the shy monster's cheeks, quiet sniffles leaving his lips. The teenage monster waited for a bit, letting himself calm down before he changed and left.

His mother looked a bit worried when he got home. She quickly asked if something was wrong, to which the slightly taller skeleton lied.

He gave his usual bright smile and told her that he went to get some ice cream with the others. That he was sorry he didn't tell her, it was just a spur of the moment type of thing.

The yellow skeleton's worry washed away as her own smile formed. This one was genuine though. She was happy, proud that her child was getting more friends.

With that done, she let her baby go to his room. There, Palette curled into his covers, tightly closing his eyes to sleep.

He never wanted to see Cray again.
