They tried to run, they tried to scream for help... They tried to do whatever a rational person would do!

Yet... Their lips stayed tightly shut, their feet firmly planted in the ground, still as a statue. The only thing moving was their wide, pale, frightened eyes as they zoomed through out the cavern.

"AwE... S0 sCaReD~" The monster purred, lightly running its demented fingers on the soft skin of the crying human.

"Go0d NiGhT, dEaR~"

I jolted up from my sleep, my chest coming up and down in a frantic way. I didn't know what the hell I had just dreamt, but fuck was it terrifying.

Taking a deep breath, I let myself calm down. Turning to my left, I grabbed my dream journal and wrote down the freakish nightmare, just like Grandmother had always told me to do.

Once that was done, I went to lay down and get more sleep, but of course my cousin had to come in early.

"Fresh! Time to wake up!" The white wearing skeleton shouted, a smile on her face.

I groaned in annoyance, flopping back down on my bed. I didn't want to get up.

"Nuu..." I whined, turning over to curl into my pillows.

"Come on, Freshy!" The slightly younger monster whined back, lightly tugging on my sheets.

"Nuu..." I muttered again, almost back to sleep until they said those hated words.

"Did you have a vision again?"

All sleep left me as I sat up, shivering in fear of the now forgotten dream. Grandmother called the nightmares that I get visions, saying that I was a "seer"... Whatever that meant...

Stubbornly, I shook my head, tears gathering in my eye sockets. I didn't want to believe in those stupid things... They were just silly stories... Nothing to fret over! There wasn't a thing as a real seer!

"N-No... Y-You know those are just silly stories..." I told my younger cousin as sternly as I could, tears brimming my eyes.

The white wearing skeleton said nothing as she pulled me into a calming hug. She knows how I get when Grandmother gets into the conversation...

"I'm sorry... Did you write the dream down at least?" Cross whispered, pulling back a bit.

I nodded, letting her place the book between us, so we both could read.

The human was walking down a cave, it was dark outside, but there was light from the cave. It looked liked the whole night sky was there. Every star and galaxy waiting for someone to look up at them.

Calmly they continued to walk, almost in a trance, not caring about anything around them. Their soft eyes were glazed over as they listened to the song. They couldn't hear it, but they wanted to find it.

The human continued down the winding corridors of the cavern, the song growing louder and louder as the environment changed without notice.

Soon, they were in the middle of a chamber, the song was gone now.

The human blinked, looking around, finally taking in where they were. The cold floors were littered with missing bones, rotted flesh and stains of sorts. The smell of death and misery hung heavily in the air. But the worst part was when their eyes fell upon a half eaten man, the side of his face ripped off as the brain inside was missing.

They screamed, trying to turn around to run, but instead they met a dark chest. Looking up, their body froze in fear. Red and yellow eyes of a demon stared into their soft, gentle ones.
