Sci gazed at the magnificent beasts. He couldn't believe that they actually exist! Oh, how the government was going to eat this up!

"Wow..." His soft voice earned a growling hiss from one of the larger beings, their yellow and blue eyes cold with anger.

A bit of movement flicked in the corner of the scientist's eyes, it must of been the small one waking up.

It took a moment or two more for the small one to fully be conscious, but when it was, it screeched and whined in fear! Its tail flicking wildly, spinning around to stare at the two way mirrors around the poor thing. They most likely didn't know what a mirror was.

Hearing its brethren's shriek, the large tailed being rammed itself against an adjoining wall. All pain was seemingly forgotten as the creature slammed against the glass to get to the other.

Soon, the wall gave way, shattering the glass into sharp weapons, but they were ignored as the large brute held the smaller close to its large chest, cooing soft things into its ear.

The scientist just gave another single word response, his glee and excitement building.

"Amazing."

"I can't believe it! We're gonna see Mer-people!" A small creature cried out, their colorful eyes  changing.

A monster rolled his one eye, his dark tentacles gently moving behind him.

"Whatever, it's most likely something Sci cooked up in his lab." The brute grumbled, his voice deep with malice.

The other three winced, their eyes showing pity and a rage that no demon could mock.

Sci wasn't really the sanest skeleton amongst the population... He was known to do wicked things to even his closest of friends... Something those four knew personally.

"Well, if it is, can I eat him?" A broad shoulder skeleton called out, raising a bone brow at the artist and the gooey skeleton.

"Yes." Their voice mixed with both fury and a perverted glee.

The broad skeleton's wide smile grew at the thought, his sharp, blood stained teeth gleaming in the ugly yellow light.

"What if he actually captured real Mer-people? Wouldn't that be kidnapping someone? Knowing him, he's most likely tried breaking them and well... I guess they're refusing still." Informed another skeleton.

His voice carried over the others, their bodies tensing with anger at the thought.

"If it comes down to that, then you and Horror can have some fun." The short monster held no remorse, no emotion as he spoke.

Yet, his words sent shock waves of ugly joy through the deranged skeletons at the thought of their fun.

"Ink, Nightmare! Horror, Dust! I'm so glad you four could make it!" The insane scientist called out, his white eyes showing said insanity.

"What do you want from us this time, Sci." Ink had no time for this. He didn't feel comfortable around this monster he use to call friend.

"Why, follow me! Follow me!"

The monster didn't wait as he hurriedly went down a passage.

The four guests sighed heavily, glaring at him as they reluctantly followed. They weren't going to kill him if what he said wasn't true... Maybe.

Soon, the five came to a large room that was tinted blue from the large tank inside.

The tank looked to at least be a few acres in width and at least a hundred or so feet deep. The bottom had natural ocean sand with real seaweed and kelp. But that wasn't what caught the guests' attention. No, near the back was a large collection of rocks that formed caverns and rooms with more kelp and seaweed, but siting in front of it, guarding three smaller bodies was a merman.
