Chapter Fourteen

'Hunter's POV:

  "God damn, why is it so cold in your room?" "To be honest, I actually have no idea. You end up getting used to it over time." Edric stares at me. "That's not okay dude. The living conditions here are not the best." "Tell me about it. But in the mean time, do you want an extra blanket or something?" "Yes please!" 

  There's a couple blankets in a closet at the end of the hallway. I grab three and go back to my room. "Here you go." I throw one at him. "Ow what the heck?" "What? You said you wanted a blanket, so I gave you one." He glares at me. "Well, here, you might need a pillow tonight." He chucks a pillow at me. "I hate you so much." "I love you too man." 

  The bitch, Kikimora knocks aggressively on my door. I can tell that it's Kikimora by how low to the ground it sounds and the fact that she is the only one who's that aggressive.  "What do you want Kikimora?" "I thought I heard yelling and I went to check on it. Too bad that it is you though." I hear her stomp away.

  "What's up her ass today?" "Probably Belos." Edric looks at me confused. Then it clicks in his mind. "Oh shit! That is disgusting! How would it even work though?" "Please don't make me think of that! The image is already forming in my mind." I complain. He laughs. Something about him being happy makes me happy.

  "Where are you going to sleep? I'm not making you sleep on the floor. It's your room." "It's fine, I really don't mind sleeping on the ground." "No you're not sleeping on the musty little floor." He is so stubborn. "But like, you're the guest-" "Do you wanna just share the bed instead? It's an easier option than fighting." "Alright, don't know why I didn't think of that earlier."

  "Now that all of that is over, wanna go get something to eat?" It's like six and I'm getting hungry. "Sure, I'm getting pretty hangry." He stands up. "Race ya!" I run out of the room and down the stairs.

  "Haha! I win!" I throw my arms up in victory. "Not fair! You got a head start!" "Should've started running before me." "I didn't want to cause a lot of noise!" "Trust me, no one cares here. There's only like two people living on the same floor as me." "Oh, what are all the other rooms for then?" "I have no idea. Maybe guests or something?" 

  "Lets go see whats for dinner tonight?" "Wait, you don't have to cook your own food?" "Nope, just another perk of living at the Emperors Castle!" I flick my hair dramatically. "That and I'm not allowed to cook because I almost set the castle on fire."
