Chapter Twenty Two

       Hunter POV:

  It's now around six pm and I have nothing to do. I go on my phone and go to my contacts. I forgot that I have I have Edrics number. "Should i text him?" I ask Rascal. He chirps. "I'm taking that as a yes."

'Hi'
'Hey Blondie'
'Im bored'
'Smae'
'Same*'
'Oh shut up'

'Anyways can you call right now'
'Yeah'

  He calls and I pick up. "Hey Blondie." "Hi." Rascal starts chirping. "Do you have a palismen or something?" He asks. "Yeah, his name is Rascal." "Aw, can you send me a photo of him please?" "Yeah sure." I take a photo of the red bird and send it to the greenette. "He's so cute!." "I know right."

  We talk for around twenty minutes. "Didn't you say you had proof that you were the Golden Guard?" "Oh yeah, want me to show you?" "Yeah!" "Hold on." I go over to my closet and grab my uniform. "Here I'll send you a photo of the mask." I send him a photo of the mask. "Nice mask dude." "Thanks, even thought I don't have a choice if I wear it or not." "This conversation got depressing quick." "Oh sorry." "Nah it's fine, I was just joking."

  The call lasts for another twenty minutes. "I have to go, but it was nice talking to you!" He says. "Bye, goodnight." "Night." He hangs up and I set my phone down. Someone knocks on my door. "Golden Guard, you are needed by The Emperor." It's Kikimora. "Give me a couple seconds, I'm coming." I get up and put on my mask and cloak.

  "Hello sir." I bow. "Hello Hunter. Do you know why I called you here?" "No why?" Did he find out? "Of course you don't, you forgot to tell me your report for today." "Oh yeah, my apologizes sir." "If you forget one more time, you will taken out of Hexside, do you understand?" "Yes sir."

  I tell him what happened today. Expect the part about me skipping class. I get to my room and take off the mask and cloak. "One more day, then it's the weekend. "Night Rascal."
