Chapter Twenty Eight

        Hunter POV:

  We head downstairs as a big group. "Hey dad," Edric says. Their dad is watching some show with a bunch of kids with hats on and one is wearing a hood over his entire face. "Yeah, what do you guys need." He quickly changes the channel. "Why did you change the channel so quickly?" "Uh I don't think it's appropriate for a little kid like him." He points towards me. They all start laughing. "I'm not trying to be rude but I'm sixteen, not a kid." "Oh shit, sorry, you don't look sixteen.

  "Anyways past that, what did you all need?" Alador asks. "Oh, we were wondering if we could order a pizza for dinner." "Okay sure, what do y'all want on it?" "Are you all fine with just cheese and pepperoni?" Em asks. We all nod. "Alright, I'll order, I will call you guys down when it's here." "Okay, c'mon let's go back upstairs.

  "I still can't believe that he thought you were a little kid." Jerbo says. "Shush, I don't know why people think I'm a little kid, I'm sixteen!" "But still, you've gotta admit that it's still pretty funny."

  They make fun of me for a little while more. "So anyways, do you want to watch a movie?" Viney asks. "Yeah, can we watch a horror movie?" Jerbo asks. Dammit, horror movies are one of the two things that I fear. The second one is dogs. Luckily dogs are only in the human realm. "Is everybody okay with this?" "Yeah." I lie. "Alright, I'll pick the movie, since it's my room." Ed says.

  This is a really bad idea. I think, panicking. If you can't tell I really hate horror movies. "Alright it's starting, now try to not scream too loud." Emira says.

  The movie starts and I'm already starting to feel scared.

  Around twenty minutes go by and it's getting really creepy and scary. A jump scare appears and most of us scream, but mainly just me. "Hey Blondie, you okay, you look really scared?" Edric asks me. "Uh yeah I'm fine." My voice cracks. I sound like I'm a twelve year old boy going through puberty.

  The movie is almost over when another scary scene happens. Everybody screams. "Hunter, are you seriously okay? You look a lot more scared than everyone else." "Uh not really, I don't really like horror movies." "Oh, why didn't you say in the first place? We can turn it off if you would like?" "It's fine, there is only a couple more minutes left. I'll just look away for the rest." I reassure. "If you say so."

The movie finally ends and the pizza gets here. We all rush downstairs and grab a couple of slices. "Well how did you guys like the movie?" Jerbo asks. "I liked it!" Viney says. "Eh it was okay." Emira says, trying to sound cool. "I was scared the entire time, so I didn't pay attention to most of it." I admit. "Oh I'm sorry about that, but anyways let's enjoy our pizza that took an hour to get here!"
