Chapter Twenty Nine

Hunter POV:

  A couple hours go by and everybody is getting a little tired. It's around ten now. "I'm gonna go to sleep, see you guys in the morning." Viney grabs a blanket and pillow and goes over to a corner. "I call dibs on the bed when I go to sleep!" Edric yells. "And since Hunter had to suffer through that movie you two are sharing the bed." Emira says. "Hey Em can I speak to you real quick?" Edric asks. "Yeah sure." They both go out in to the hallway.

  Both of them walk back in the room like nothing happened. "Are you okay with sharing the bed?" He asks. "Yeah sure, we've done it once before." Jerbo and Emira turn their heads in our direction and stare at us. "What?" I'm confused on what's so bad about that.

  Two hours go by and I'm getting pretty sleepy. "Hey I'm going to sleep, night." I say laying down in the bed. "Night Blondie." All of them say, except Viney since she's asleep. I lay down on the side closest to the wall. His bed is pushed up against the wall so the blanket is really uneven.

  I just lay there, not being able to fall asleep. Edric lays down next to me and I hear him whisper some goodnights to Em and Jerbo.

  I lay awake for about an hour when something grabs my waist. It's an arm, Edrics arm. What happened at the sleepover at my place is happening again.

  I ignore it for the most part and just try to go to sleep.

  Something is trying to shake me awake. "C'mon Blondie, wake up!" I think Edric is the one who said that, but I don't know, I'm like half awake. "I'm up, I'm up, you can stop shaking me." I say tiredly. "Yay you're awake finally." I finally managed to fall asleep, woo. "Anyways, I will let you wake up, but after we're playing Kario Drive!" Edric gets off of me.

  "Do we have to play this?" Jerbo complains. "Yes, it's the perfect way for us to be even better friends." Emira rolls her eyes at Edric's beautiful 'speech'. "Why not play Monopoly while we're at it?" Jerbo and I grab a controller and sit by the tv. I haven't brushed my hair or anything yet, so I look horrible. The game finally loads, and we're at the character selection thing. I pick Walugi, he's a cool dude. "I'm offened!" Edric lays down on the floor dramaticaly. "What happened?" "Blondie over there, took Walugi before I could pick him!" "You can have him next round, get off the floor though, I wanna start." Emira says. 

  Edric gets over his little tantrum. We played a couple rounds, I won three out of the five I've played. "How do you keep winning?!" Edric yells. "I don't know, I guess I'm just better than you." I shrug. "Oh fuck off, I'm done with this game. What do you guys wanna do now that we're done with that stupid game." Sometimes Edric acts so childish, it's pretty funny though. 

  For the next couple hours we just relax and do whatever. Then my phone starts ringing. "Blondie, your phone is going off, you better answer it before I do." Edric's head is face down on the bed so it's pretty hard to understand what he's saying. I pick up the phone and look at the caller ID. Shit, it's Belos. "Hello Hunter, do you think you can come home now?" He sounds weirdly nice for once. "Uh yeah sure, let me grab my stuff. I'll be home in a few, bye." I hang up.

I just saw Spiderman Far From Home, I cried four different times during it (It was really good)
