Chapter Thirty-Six

Hunter's POV:

  School ended and I'm back at the castle and up in my room. Viney texted me saying that she told Jerbo and Barcus. Hopefully Jerbo and Barcus don't tell anyone else. Nobody is supposed to know but here we are, already five people know. If Belos finds out, he's gonna kill me, I'm one hundred percent sure. But I trust everybody that I told, I don't think that they will tell anyone else. If they do, then I'm screwed. I'm probably over thinking, everything is going to be fine. Belos isn't going to find out, he better not. 

  I lay down on my bed and try to relax. I play some Demon Crossing until I get a text from Edric. What does he want?

'Did you just call me 'Cutie'?' 

'shush'                                                                                                                                                                                        'u r cute'                                                                                                                                                                            'espicaly when ur mad'

I'm still a little surprised with the fact that he called me cute. Also, he has horrible spelling.

'What did you need?'

Even auto correct can't help this guy.

  I giggle at the nickname. Why the fuck am I giggling like some five-year-old? Something hits me like a brick. I have a crush on him. I have a crush on Edric! I kinda forgot about that. It's been a while since I thought of that type of stuff. How am I gonna explain this to him. He's gonna hate me if I do. 

  I decide to sleep it off. Hoping that something will come up tomorrow and I don't have to go to school. 

  In the very few hours I was sleeping, nothing came up. "I don't want to go to school today." I'm talking to no one in particular. I get ready, but this time, I'm actually trying to do something with my hair. I'm not very successful with it though.

  While I'm walking to Hexside, I'm trying to think of ways to tell Edric. I'm just wanting to get it off my chest for now, I don't even think he likes me back. I don't know if I should just tell him. Just say 'Hey, I really like you, do you want to go out with me?' I don't understand why I can't just tell him like that! Maybe I'll have Emira help in some way? I don't really know; I will probably just ask Emira to help me or something. I'm out of ideas.

  I arrive at school, even though I really don't want to. "Hey cutie! Over here!" That familiar voice yells. "Hi guys." "Damn man, you look tired, like a lot more tired than usual!" "I'm fine, just a tad bit stressed." I sit down on a bench; Edric sits next me. "Golden Guard stuff?" "Yeah, pretty much. Can I tell you guys something?" "Depends on what it is though." Viney says. "Do you want to know why I'm even at Hexside in the first place?" I probably shouldn't be discussing this with them, but who cares? Obviously not me!
