My Only Hope

Chapter 14

The last two weeks have consisted of me hanging out with the guys every second I had. Me and Sadie got pretty close over the past two weeks too. I spent my last day saying goodbye to family and I also helped Sam pick out a house. Jack acted like I wasn't moving at all, he always tried to stay positive. But it got harder at the last few days.
Today was the day I was leaving for la. My room was all packed and was already taken to the house.
"Lilly let's go!" I hear my mom yell from down stairs and I look around my room.
"Last time I'll step in here" I sigh to myself and walk downstairs stopping to look at mine and sams hight marks from when we were little in the doorway. I smile and walk downstairs.
I grab my backpack Carry on and walk outside to see nate, Sam, jack, jack, And I said goodbye to Sadie last night.
I went to nate first.
"I'm going to miss you" I say sadly hugging him. He hugged me tighter than he ever has.
"I'll see you soon Lilly" he says letting go.
I go to gilinsky.
"Bye eyebrows" I say hugging him.
"You let me know if I need to beat someone up down there" he says which makes me laugh.
"Will do jack" I say letting go.
Now Sam.
I squeezed him more than anyone.
We didn't say anything. We just stood there hugging eachother.
"See you soon, I love you" he says.
"I love you too" I say letting go.
I step over to jack and he wraps his arms around me pulling me into a tight hug.
"Finally together and now were being pulled apart" I say.
"I know but it's only 6 months baby, it'll go by quick" he says.
"Jack promise me distance won't ruin anything" I say.
"Pinky promise" he says pulling out of the hug connecting our pinkys.
"I love you" I say trying not to cry.
"I love you too babygirl" he says kissing me passionately.
We pull away and I hug him once more before the cab pulls up.
"Lilly come on" my dad says.
"I'll see you guys in 6 months" I say. I rest my hand into jacks kissing him once more before walking to the cab and getting in the back. Seeing them all standing there and knowing I won't see them again for half a year made me start to cry but I quickly wiped the tears away and rolled down the window. "I love you guys!" I yell as the cab drives away they all wave until Their out of sight.
I get on my phone and see a snapchat from jack.
I open it and it's him making a pouty face captioned 'I miss you already'
I took a picture making the Same pouty face.
'I miss you too'
We get to the airport and walks inside. We go through security and get on the plane. I had a window seat and the plane took off. I put my head phones in and played mine and jacks playlist.

I heard the lady tell everyone the plane was landing and I woke up. Once the plane landed I grabbed my carry on and got off. I took a selfie in the warm weather and sent it to all the guys on snpachat saying 'in LA'
Then I made a snpachat video.
'Its so hot here and I miss you guys I wish you were here love you'
And sent it to all the guys. We got in the airport and waited for our cab. The cab got here and we got inside and they drove us to the house.
The house was white and blue and it was three stories.
"Wow" I say at the huge house.
We go inside and everything was there.
"Where's my room?" I ask.
"Second floor at the end of the hall" my mom says and I go upstairs.
I see my door and open it. My room was a lot bigger and still has the same stuff in it. I see the little boxes that had my clothes, makeup, posters and everything else. But I was too tired to start unpacking. I layed on my bed and called jack.
J- hey babe how's it in la?
L- very, very hot.
J- yeah that's something you'll have to get used to...god I miss you already.
L- I miss you too but it's only 6 months, remember it'll fly by
J- I know I just can't wait for you to get back.
L- me too.
J- so what's your new house like?
L- it's huge. Three stories, giant bedroom, my own personal bathroom. I'd be living the life of you guys were here.
J- im half asleep Lilly so if I sound weird that's why.
L- it only 9 though.
J- it's 11 here.
L- oh yeah, I'm sorry I didn't realize. I'll let you go to sleep.
J- night baby girl I love you.
L- I love you too
I hang up the phone and layback in my bed.
"This won't be too bad" I say to myself and fall asleep.

I woke up to the sun hitting my face. It was 11 am.
I get put of bed and get in the shower. I hated plane trips they always made me feels gross.
I took a shower and got out. I blow dried my hair and got dressed. I put on a purple t shirt and black leggings with my favorite vans. I went down stairs and my dad wasn't home but my mom was.
"How are you liking the place?" She asks.
"It's nice but I miss the guys" I say.
"Well if you don't like it here you'll see them in 6 months" she says.
"I know but that's so long" I say.
"It'll go by fast" she says.
"I'm going outside" I say and go outside. I sit on the steps and take out my phone.
L- wanna skype??:)
Jacky poo- sure:)
I went on skype and called jack.
"Morning babe" he smiles.
"Hey" I say.
"I've gotten a lot done with your song"
"Really??" I say excitedly.
"Yep, I got a name for it and the chorus is done and the beat is being worked on." He says
"What's it called?" I ask.
"You really wanna know?"
"Yes!"
"Fine, it's called tides" he says.
"That's no clue at all" I pout.
"Sorry that's all you get babe" he says.
"Hey I have to go" he says.
"Aw" I sigh.
"Sorry love you"
"Love you too" I say and hang up.
Two guys walk out of the house next to me and we make eye contact but I go on my phone.
They started walking towards my house and I kept my eyes glued to my phone screen hoping they didn't come over here.
"Hey you must be the new neighbor" one of the guys say and I stand up and lock my phone.
"Yeah hi I'm lilly" I say trying to be nice.
"I'm Cameron and he's nash" the shorter one says. (Cam and Nash are just normal people in this fanfic they are not famous and they do not know any of the guys)
"Nice to meet you" I smile.
My phone started ringing and it was nate.
"Um I gotta take this" I say.
"Oh go ahead" Nash says but their still not leaving. Ugh.
L- hey nate.
N- hey what's up?
L- um well I was just talking to some guys from next door
N- jacks not going to like that.
L- ugh he's fine, I'll talk to you later okay?
N- Kay bye
L- bye
"Sorry about that" I say even though I wasn't sorry I just wanted to be left alone.
"That's fine we should hang out sometime" Cameron says.
"Maybe" I say.
"Cool see you around sometime" he says and they finally walk away.
I call nate back and sit back down on the stairs.
L- hey sorry those guys wouldn't leave me alone
N- what?!
L- do you have me on speaker?
N-yeah..
N- let me talk to her
N-jack wants to talk to you
L- put him on.
J- who are these guys that won't leave you alone??
L- some guys that live next door.
J- what are they like? How old are they? Do you think they're attractive?
L- babe babe calm down their not attractive they look my age and they're nice whatever.
J- send me a picture of them.
L- what do you expect me to do go to their door and ask them if I can take a picture of them to send to my worried boyfriend who lives half way across the world?
J- yes exactly.
L- jack I love you but that's one thing I will not do for you.
J- fine, but if they touch you I'm gon get all sassy johnson with em.
L- okay you do that
J- I will.
N- give her back to me now
J- mine
N- well it's my phone.
J- it's my girlfriend
L- jack give nate the phone.
J- I'll give you the phone if you get me a Twinkie
N- fine I'll get you one
L-finally
Gilinsky- I ate the last Twinkie
L-seriously eyebrows?!
N- just give me my phone
J- I'll fart on your phone.
L- jack that's gross.
N- do not fart on my phone.
J- *farts on phone*
L- jack you're disgusting!!
N- ew I don't want that anymore.
J- everything worked out!
L- except the fact that I'm never trusting you with my phone again
We talked for over two hours on the phone, it wasn't the same as hanging out with them but it was still great.
After we hung up I had no idea what to do. Normally I'd be hanging out with them. But I had no body now. I sighed and walked over to the middle of the yard laying back in the grass, it was hot and I hated the heat. I went on my phone and nothing new was happening. It was so boring.
"Hey Lilly were going to the beach tonight you wanna come?" Cam yells from outside his door.
"Sure?" I yell back.
"Cool be ready by 6" he says and goes back inside. Why did I say yes? I just met these guys. Oh well I could use some friends.
It was 3 right now. I got up and went inside.
"Mom I'm going to hang out with some guys from next door later" I inform her.
"See it's not that bad here you've already made friends" she says.
"I'd much rather be hanging out in Omaha with jack and jack" I say.
"Come on make this a good thing" she says and I roll my eyes and go upstairs.
I changed into pink-purple shorts and a black tanktop since it was so hot and tied my hair up in a messy bun.
Jacky poo- you wanna skype tonight??:)
L- I can't I'm going to the beach with Nash and Cameron.
Hopefully jack won't be mad that I'm going to the beach with them.
Jacky poo- hate them already :/
L- jaccckkkk.
Jacky poo- lillllllyyyyyy
L- jack I'm just going to hang out with these guys at the beach for a few hours. Nothing's going to happen.
Jacky poo- I trust you I don't trust them. With a hottie like you around I don't know what they think they're gunna do.
L- Jack you're so weird😂
Jacky poo- I know 😏
L- so how's it in a day in the life of the guys without Lilly?
Jacky poo- boring tbh. We all miss you so we just mope around all day.
L- aw I'll be back soon 😘
After a while I heard a knock on the door downstairs. I went down and opened it to see Cameron and Nash.
"Ready?" Nash smiles.
"I guess" I say back, shutting the door.
"You know you're only making it more difficult for yourself not opening up and just hanging out" Cameron says as we get in his car.
"I'm pretty sure getting in a car with guys I just met is opening enough" I say.
"That is very true, but were not psychopaths If that's what your wondering" Cameron laughs.
We get to the beach and pull in.
"Why are we at the beach anyways?" I ask.
"I don't know but I brought pizza" cameron says.
"I'm in" I say and we get out of the car.
We sit out on a patch of the beach with the pizza. The weather was still pretty warm even though it was later and at the beach.
"so where did you come from?" Nash asks.
"Omaha Nebraska" I answer.
"What's it like down there?" Cameron asks.
"Eh the weather isn't very great but it was good for me, wasn't too much to do either but then again I don't like big cities. So this place isn't the best for me, but I'm going back to live with my brother in 6 months" I explain.
"Why didn't your brother come with you?"
"Because we've lived in Omaha our whole lives, and he's 18 he had to move out anyways." I say.
"Well why do you wanna go back? What if you end up liking It here?" Nash asks.
"Even if I did like it here, my brother, my three best friends and my boyfriend are back there" I say.
"Then why didn't you move in with your brother before your parents moved?"
Did they ever stop asking questions.
"Because I couldn't, believe me I wanted to, but I have to wait six months" I say.
My phone started ringing, I looked at the name and rolled my eyes, did he not trust me?
"One second it's my boyfriend" I say and they nod as I answer.
L-yes jack?
J- just thought I'd call you.
L- jack you know I'm hanging out with Cameron and Nash.
J-yeah I know I'm just checking up on you
L- I'm fine
J- those guys aren't all over you?
L-no, their not.
J- okay babe text me when you get home.
L- okay bye
I hang up.
"Is he worried were murderers?" Cameron laughs.
"No he's worried if you guys are huge flirts" I say.
"Of course dating a pretty girl like you he's gunna be that way" Nash says.
"Uh thanks" I awkwardly laugh.
We spent a good hour just sitting at the beach until we left. Cameron and Nash were actually WAY fun to hang out with.
"Bye" I yell to them before walking in my house.
"Have fun sweetie?" My mom asks sitting on the couch.
"Yeah I actually did, they're really cool" I say and go up to my room.
Jacky poo- you home yet?
L-yeah:)
Jacky poo- wanna Skype with me nate and Sam?
L- sure but where's gilinsky?
Jacky poo- out with Sadie.
L- awww😭💕
I got a Skype call from jack.
L-heyyy!
S- hey
J-HIII
N-hey
J- so how'd it go with those guys?
L- their actually really cool
N- you like them more than us?!
L- obviously not! But it's cool to already have friends here
S- you thinking you're going to want to stay?
L- no! Just because I make friends doesn't mean I'm staying!
J- I'm glad you found some people to hang out with, I just wish they were girls or gay
L- jack you have nothing to worry about, they know I have a boyfriend
N- we miss you, gilinsky said He'll Skype you tomorrow
L- I miss you guys too, and surprisingly I actually miss that turd.
S- the guys keep bugging me to let you come back earlier
L- if you miss me why won't you?
S- because this is not only a good experience for you but I can have time to get your room ready.
J- it doesn't take 6 months to get a room ready
L- exactly!!!!
S- that doesn't matter I want you to be in la for a while
L- loser.
I Skyped with the guys for an hour before we hung up.
My dad got home and called me down.
"Yeah?" I ask sitting down in a chair.
"How was you official first day here?" He asks.
"Pretty cool, I hung out with these guys and they really fun" I say.
"What guys?" He asks.
"Just the two guys that live next door" I say.
He didn't say anything which was weird. He was just acting weird all around.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"I don't want you hanging out with those guys" he says.
"Why not?" I ask.
"Because you don't know them" he says.
"Okay how am I suppose to get to know them if I can't hang out with them?"
"You dont" he says. I groan and go upstairs, my dad could get so annoying.
It was pretty late, so I went to sleep.

Today was going to be filled with unpacking. My mom and dad were both gone all day so I wouldn't be interrupted.
I started with my clothes. I took out my shirts and hung them up in my huge closet. And started folding my jeans. This didn't feel right at all. I missed Omaha. I belonged in Omaha. But I have no choice.
I heard a knock on the door and ran down the stairs to open the door.
standing there was Nash.
"Hey come in" I smile shutting the door after he walks in.
"wheres Cameron?" I ask.
"He went to his photoshoot" Nash says.
"Photoshoot?" I ask.
"Yeah he's a model for Aeropostale" he says.
"That's so cool!" I say. "come on I have to unpack" I say walking upstairs.
We get to my room and I continue to unpack while keeping conversation with Nash, he was super funny. He reminded me of gilinsky.
We were sitting there laughing so hard because I ran into the wall turning around.
"Are you okay?" Nash asks as his laughing slows down.
"I'm fine" I say.
"You sure, you hit your head pretty hard" he laughs.
"Yeah, could you go grab us some water bottles in the fridge?" I ask.
"Yeah I'll be right back" he says.
I was getting a skype call from johnson and Sam.
"Hey guys!" I say excitedly.
"Have you been crying?" Jack asks.
"No I was laughing to the point of tears" I say.
"Catch" Nash says throwing the water bottle at me, I caught it with one hand and set it in my lap.
"Come here" I say to Nash and he sits next to me in the camera.
"Guys this is Nash, Nash this is jack and sam" I say.
"She's said a lot about you jack" Nash says.
"What about me?!" Sam gasps.
"Sorry sam" I laugh.
"Guys I was unpacking can I skype you later?" I ask.
"Yeah" Sam says.
"Bye love" johnson says and they hang up.

*jack Johnson's pov*
I hung up the skype call and locked my phone.
"So she's too busy to skype us but she can have that guy over?" I say irratated.
"Well Nash is there and not taking up one of her hands" Sam says.
"But why is he there?!" I say.
"Because Lilly is in a new state and you should be happy that she made friends" he points out.
"Yeah I guess but I still don't trust them" I say.
"Why?" Sam asks.
"Because I just dont" I say.
I go on Facebook and go to lillys profile, I haven't seen her profile since she moved.
She posted a picture of her, Nash, and Cameron at the beach. Then she posted a picture just a few minuets ago with Nash. She posted 'la isn't too bad but still missing my main bae's in omaha😘'
I liked the status and locked my phone.
"I can't wait for her to get back" I say under my breath.
*lillys pov*
Nash's phone rang and I could tell it was Cameron on the other line.
"Hey is it okay if Cameron comes over here?" He asks.
"Yeah that's totally fine" I say.
"Yeah man come on over" he says and hangs up.
Minuets later there's a knock on the door and Nash goes down to get it while I hang up my posters.
"Hey" Cameron says walking in the door as I hang up my last poster
"Hey, how'd the photoshoot go?" I ask.
"Okay I guess, it gets kinda boring since Nash decided to hang out with you instead of coming with me." He says
"Awe Nash you're mean" I say.
"Whoops" he says.
"I have another shoot tomorrow wanna come?" He asks me.
"Sure!" I say.
"Cool" cameron smiles.
"Lilly!" I hear my dad yell from downstairs.
"He wasn't suppose to be home for another two hours!" I whisper yell.
"What's wrong ?" Nash asks.
"My dad doesn't like me hanging out with any guys besides my boyfriend and friends back home" I say.
"Why not ?" Cameron asks.
"Long story" I say and hear my dad coming upstairs.
"Get in the closet" I say pushing the guys in the closet and plopping down on my bed with my phone.
"Did you get all your packing done?" He asks.
"Yeah" I answer locking my phone.
"Good, well were going out to dinner tonight" he says.
"Actually, I'm not feeling great I think I'll just stay home" I say.
"Okay" he says and leaves my room. I heard Him go to the bathroom so I quickly opend my closet.
"You have to go now but I'll text you" I say
"Bye" they say before basically running out.
My mom got home and they headed out for dinner. I lied about not feeling great, I just didn't like going to public places like that without the guys. I missed them so much. I don't know how I'm suppose to handle this big city without them. But I'm glad I have Nash and Cameron, it's better than no one.
L- what time is that photo shoot tomorrow?
Cameron: it's at 12:30 :)
L- okay well I'm going to sleep, goodnight.
Cameron- night😴
I got a text from jack.
Jacky poo- heyy
L- hi😘
Jacky poo- I'm tired but I wanted to talk to you
L- awee, I was about to sleep but I miss you:/
Jacky poo- tomorrow I'll skype you because I have a new piano thing to show you
L- could you skype me before 12:30 or like later in the evening?
Jacky poo- why
L- I'm going with Nash and Cameron to watch Cameron's photoshoot for Aeropostale
Jacky poo- Cameron's a model.?
L- yeah:) so tomorrow evening?
Jacky poo- yeah sure
L- you okay?
Jacky poo- I'm great :)
L- okay, well I really need to get to sleep, tomorrow's going to be a long day.

I locked my phone and changed into pajamas and brushed my teeth before going to sleep.
