My Only Hope

Chapter 45

We had finished two days of shooting and now I was free to do whatever. Which included skyping cameron.
L- how are people hiding up without me?
C- not too good I miss you" he frowns
L- I miss you too
"Hey so I got some of the pictures back u thought you might want to look at them" Toby says walking in.
"Oh cool" I say.
C- who's that?
"I'm Toby" he smiles in the camera and I laugh.
"Cam this is Toby aka the only way I'm actually surviving this trip" I say
C- how do you know him?
"We met on the plane, yeah turns out he's actually my photographers son" I say
"That's me" he flashes a smile in the camera again.
"Thanks for takin care of my lilly man" cam says. God if it was Jack he'd be screaming right now.
"No problem" Toby smiles.
C- I have a meeting with Brooklyn, I have to go.
L- okay bye
I shut my computer and look to Toby.
"What shall we do?" I ask.
"Well I was thinking we could go ice skating in Central Park" he says
"Ice skating?! I don't even know how to do normal skating!" I say
"Get ready and I'll teach you" he says and leaves. I put on a black top and jeans with a black jacket that has a furry hood. I put on boots and a beanie.
"Let's go I guess"

"I suck at this!" I say as I almost fall into the ice.
"Your doing great just hang onto me" he says pulling me around.
"I'm gunna fall!" I say as my feet start to slip.
I fall to my butt and Toby and I couldn't stop laughing. He helps me up and we sit aside for a minute.
"Want to take a snapchat with me?" I ask
"Sure" he says. I take out my phone and take a picture of us smiling with the snowy ground in the back.
"Cameron needs to come see this snow" I say
"He's never seen snow?!" Toby says
"Living in la his whole life he had only had sun" I say
"Sucks"
We decided to go get something to eat.
Sadieee: hey! How's New York?
L- AH-MA-ZINGG
sadieee: well we miss you:(( come back faster
L- *picture* there's snow though
Sadieee: bring it back to ussss 😍
L- would if I could

I was leaving back home in an hour. And in that time Toby has showed me basically every part on New York.
"I definantly need to come back here some time" I say
"Yeah you should" he smiles.
"Well bye I guess, thanks for everything"
"You're welcome, see you soon" he smiles before I board the plane and go home.

"Lilly!" I heard can say as I was waiting in the airport and turned around. And I was pretty excited.
"Hey!" I say hugging him.
"I forgot how hard it is to be away from you" he kisses me. 
"Well let's go home?" I smile. It felt good to be in omaha again.
"So did you get the pictures back?"
"Yeah" I say handing him my phone to see the pics.
"Cutie patoodie" he says and I laugh.
"So warning, sadie is at our house waiting to hear about the snow" he says.

"I thought you were joking" I laugh as we pull up and see Sadies car.
"Not at all" he says we walk in and sadie and carson are there.
"Hey!" I smile. I spent time with everyone and went to bed.

*one week later*
Today was carsons 1 birthday and everyone was going to jack and sadies house. I had THE BEST present for her. She may only be one but she's a sassy little thing.
Me and cam where heading over and the second we got there she was running around saying "presents! Presents!"
"I'm guessing she wants to open presents" sadie laughs.
Jack and Sadie got her a doll house with 20+ barbies and Barbie outfits. Nate got her a baby doll that pees and cries (probably only to annoy Jack) sam got her all the princess dresses and shoes. Jack j got her a princess Barbie pack and a TON of candy because that's what uncles are supposed to do right? Nash got her a hair dresser doll set so she wouldn't have to use his anymore. She got to camerons. Sadie helped her open it. She pulled out a tiny leather jacket and a hot pink helmet.
"That kind of collides with mine" I say and they open my present. It was a Barbie motorcycle for kids obviously.
"I know she won't be able to use it for like a year but that's why I got this also" I say and pull out a giant box and she opens it.
"Shoes!" Carson shrieks. She's a bit shoe obsessed to say the least.
"Tank you!" She yells hugging me and my heart melted.
"You're welcome" I laugh.
She played around with her presents and then it was time for cake. Jack brought it out and carson gasped and started to clap. It was a big pink princess cake with all the princesses on it.
We all ate cake and enjoyed the rest of her birthday.
