Chapter 19

I woke up and remembered last night. The party. Cameron's house. The kids. I didn't want to smile at the memory but I did.
I looked at my phone and it was only 7:30. The guys normally slept in till 11.
I texted cam asking him if he was awake and he texted back yeah. I put on some decent clothes, brushed my teeth and went over to Cameron's house.
I knocked on the door and cameron answered smiling at me.
"Can we talk?" I ask and he lets me in and we sit on the couch.
"Go ahead" he says and I swear he hasn't broke his smile yet.
"About last night.." I started and his smile faded away.
"I know I'm sorry I shouldn't ha-" I cut him off.
"Why are you apologizing?" I ask and he lifts his head again.
"You're not mad?" He asks.
"No, not at you. Maybe a little bit at myself. I mean Jack is a great guy and everything. But last night made me realize, Jack is my best friend. And I don't think me and him should be any more than friends" I say
"And... Us?" He asks
"Cameron, I really like you. But I'm not titling myself as a cheater. I need to talk to Jack" I say and he nods.
"I understand" he says. "Lilly, can I tell you something?" He asks and I nod.
"I've liked you this whole time. I didn't say anything because you were with Jack. But he started being douchey and you deserve so much better. That's why I kissed you. I want to be with You lilly" he says holding my hands.
"Awe cam, you're the sweetest" I smile and he kisses me.
"Woah what's going on here?" We hear Nash say and instantly pull away.
"I uh- I was just going um- bye!" I say leaving and walking back to my house.
*camerons pov*
"Dude what just happend?" Nash asks me.
I told him about last night and what happens this meowing and he smiled.
"I'm happy for you man" he smiles at me.
"I am really happy she's into me, but I kinda feel guilty ya know?"
"What about Jack?" He asks
"Yeah, I mean he was a douche but he was dating her" I say
"But if she's into you, then does that mean they are breaking up?"
"I guess so" I say.
*lillys pov*
I walked inside and luckily only gilinsky was awake.
"Where were you?" He asks me. I needed to talk to him. I can trust gilinsky with anything.
"Can I talk to you about something?" I ask.
"Of course" he says sitting down on the couch next to me.
"You might hate me after this.." I say quietly.
"I would never hate you" he says
"Jack, have you ever been in a situation where you did something that could really hurt one of your friends and if you tell them they will get hurt?" I ask
"Uh- I'm what's the situation? I-I mean I should probably know" he stutters. He was hiding something.
*gilinskys pov*
Lilly kept asking me about hurting her friends. Did she already know?
*flashback to the party last night*
"Dude are you serious?" Jack says pointing to Lilly and Cameron walking out of the bathroom holding hands.
"Don't over react Jack" I say
"I'm just don't with this" he says and goes up to some random girl and starts making out with her. I wasn't going to stop him. He's been being douchey to Lilly lately, and honestly I don't think he can handle being in a relationship with her.
*end of flashback*
"Why are you stuttering?" Lilly asks.
"I'm just under pressure with your questions, I don't want to be the friend that gets hurt" I lie and she laughs.
"It's not you" she says. "I-it's jack" she says, her head falling slightly.
"You can tell me" I say.
"At the party last night, I started having a panic attack so I locked myself in the bathroom. I tried calling Jack but he didn't answer so I called cam and he came and helped me and took me home" she says. Jack COMPLETELY over reacted.
"Then?" I ask
"Then we went back to his house and talked for a bit. I told him I loved him and he looked sad. I was confused until.. H-he kissed me...and I kissed back. Gilinsky I have feelings for cameron" she says and to be honest I wasn't that mad. Jack wasn't there for her when he should have been. So I understand.
"So what's going on between you and Cameron now?" I ask
"I don't know! Am I suppose to break up with Jack? I'm so confused" she cries.
"It's okay we'll figure it out" I hug her and Jack comes downstairs completely ignoring Lilly.
"Hey jack" she says and he ignores her sitting on the thee side of the room on his phone.
"You okay?" She asks. Man why does he have to be so rude.
"Jack stop" I say and he glares at me.
"Why are you acting like this?" Lilly asks.
"I saw you walk out with cameron last night!" He says
"Well excuse me for having a panic attack and you wouldn't answer the phone! I didn't want to go to that party in the first place but you kept pushing me! I went to make you happy and had a panic attack! So I'm so sorry for what I did to you Jack!" Lilly says now crying and leaving the house.
"Man you got some problems. You have treated her like complete crap these past two weeks." I say and leave with Lilly.
"Im sorry Lillian" I say.
"No. I deserve whatever he says to me. I cheated on him with cameron." She says. I had to tell her.
"Lilly, don't feel bad, last night at the party after Jack saw you with Cameron he got mad and made out with some random chick, I'm sorry" I say.
"Well, I guess me and Jack just aren't meant to be" she says
"If it makes anything any better, I think camerons a good guy, and you guys get along very well, you'd both do great together." I say and she smiles.
"Thanks jack" she says.
"Jack?" I ask.
"You're the one that deserves to be called by his name, not johnson. But your still getting called eyebrows" she laughs.
"Haha I'm cool with that" I say
"So Jack. What am I to tell johnson" she asks.
"Just talk to him" I say. "And if he gets mad, you can you the party againsed him" I say and she laughs
"Do you want to go somewhere with me cam and nash today? Like without johnson?" She asks.
"Yeah let's go back and get ready for the day okay?" I say and she nods. We walk back to the house and go inside. Johnson was probably up in his guest room.
*lillys pov*
I went up to my room and brushed my hair and put it on a high pony. I was already dressed so I was ready. I walked out of my room and texted cameron
L-wanna hang or today?:)
Cam- sure:) mall?
L- yeah me and G will be right over
"Come on Jack!" I say going in the room.
"What?" Johnson asks.
"Not you, there ready jack" I say
"Okay let's go" Jack says and we walk over to cam and Nash's house. Nash and Jack have become really good friends so it all works out.
I walk through the door and Cameron smiles at me but didn't really hug me.
"You don't have to be awkward, he knows" I say and cam gives Jack a weird look.
"You're okay with it?" He asks.
"Yeah, I mean jacks being kinda douchey so" Jack says.
"Well good" cam smiles giving me a hug.
"Hey bro" Jack says guy hugging nash.
"I ship it" I whisper to cameron and he laughs.
"Okay let's go" cam days grabbing his keys. We get in his car and drive to the mall.
"Let's go to the arcade" nash says.
"But I need to go to lush" I pout.
"How about guys go to the arcade and you can go to lush" Jack says.
"You guys go I'll go with Lilly" cam says.
"Okay see ya" Nash says and they walk away.
"Okay well let's go" I smile and we walk into lush and the typical scent blasted as we walked in. I loved the strong scent of lush. But cam, not so much.
"It's not that bad" I say to him.
"It smells like a girls bathroom times 50" he laughs.
"Well I'll hurry" I say and start grabbing all my favorite products.
After I buy them we leave the shop.
"Where now?" Cam asks.
"Sephora?" I smile
"I never knew shopping with a girl would be so... I don't know..girly" he laughs.
"Well let's go" I say pulling him to sephora.
"Oh I need this" I say grabbing The new Anastasia pallette. I got a few more makeup products before we left.
There was a group of snotty girls walking towards us and I tensed up and put my head down. Cam grabbed my hand and lifted my chin.
"You're better than them" he smiles and we kept walking.
"Hey cameron" one of the girls says and I got very uncomfortable.
"Hi" he says trying to keep walking but the girl started talking again.
"Who's this?" She asks referring to me.
"This is Lillian" he smiles after saying my name.
"What don't talk much?" She says to me.
"Leave her alone emily" cam says (omg not jacks Emily I would never make her this rude)
"Speak up lillian" she says rudely.
"Sorry but I try not to talk to skanks like you" I smile at her before walking away and Cameron laughed before high fiveing me.
"Who even was that anyways?" I ask
"An old friend" he says.
"Let's go get smoothies?" He suggested.
"Sure I smile and we go to the smoothie place in the mall.
"One berry smoothie and one peach" he says. He seriously knew me better than I knew myself.
"How'd you know I like peach smoothies?" I ask him.
"I don't exactly know" he laughs.
We get our smoothies and sit down.
"I'm so happy I don't have to hide my feelings anymore" he smiles at me.
"You're so open" I say
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"I don't know normally guys don't like talking about their feelings or anything, you're different" I say
"Different in a good way or bad?"
"In a good way" I smile.
"I just think girls shouldn't have to guess what we're thinking. I like being straight forward." He says
"So I found out Jack cheated before I even did" I say
"Wait are you serious?" He asks
"Yeah. He made out with some girl at the party because he saw me with you" I say.
"Wow he's stupid. But, maybe it's best that happend" he says.
"Yeah" I smile.
