Nag hihintay ang dalawang lalaki sa labas ng kwarto kung saan nagu-usap ang dalawang Xyrill.
Habang nakatayo si Prince Asher, napansin niya ang pag lukot ng mukha ni Dr. Alfein habang nakatingin sa tablet na hawak niya.
"Is there something wrong?" The prince asked.
Dr. Alfein answered with a huge sigh. "The Empress may be awake now but the condition of her body?" And then the doctor shake his head.
"The poison really did damage everything in her body. This is just an estimation but she might be alive for only 20 years. Maybe less if her body didn't recover that well" Paliwanag ni Dr. Alfein.
The prince went silent when he heard that. 20 years is short for them since their lifespan can last for 200 years. And compared to them, Xyrill life is already short and because of the poison it made it shorter.
"So does that mean Xyrill, the one who came from the future. Only has 20 years to live?" Tumango si Dr. Alfein sa tanong ng prinsipe.
The Prince let out a long sigh while rubbing his head in disbelief.
"The Empress didn't know who poisoned her. Do you have any clue?" At dahil sa tanong ni Dr. Alfein. Ang unang pumasok sa isip ni Asher ay ang kaniyang kapatid na si Aurelius.
"I have one in my mind. But if it turns out that he's the one who did it? I don't know what I might do to him" Sagot ni Asher at naupo sa isang tabi.
"If they're going to suspect someone, it's either me or Prince Aurelius. But since I fled the Palace with the Empress they might think it's me" Dagdag nito.
Si Dr. Alfein naman ang napa-isip. "But that will not make sense. If they thought that it was you. Why would you kidnap the Empress instead of killing her?"
"Prince Aurelius. I think it was him. If what Xyrill told us is really true. Then he have a reason to kill the Empress. And maybe after this he will come to the Emperor. Goodluck with that" Napailing na lang ang ulo ni Asher sa kaniyang mga sinabi. Kahit siya ay ayaw paniwalaan ang mga nai-isip at nasa-sabi niya.
A notification pop out on Dr. Alfein's device. His eyes widen when he saw it. And the Prince noticed the change of reaction from the doctor. "What's the matter?" Tanong nito.
Agad na lumapit si Dr. Alfein kay Asher at binigay ang gamit nito. At kagaya ni Dr. Alfein, nagulat din siya sa kaniyang na basa.
"Empress Xyrill and Prince Asher of Abydos Empire is now wanted for treason. They're now searching for them. Please stand by for the next news"
Rinig nilang parehas habang pinaki-kinggan ang video. It came from the news outlet that has the connection to the Palace, so they knew it's true. Humarap si Dr. Alfein kay Asher. "Where is your armlet?
"I deactivated all of them. I'm sure they're trying to track me" Tumango si Dr. Alfein.
"We need to tell the Empress" Naunang nag lakad si Asher papasok sa kwarto.
"We have a problem" Sabi ni Dr. Alfein habang nakatingin sa dalawang dalaga sa kama.
Asher felt weird seeing them together. Though the future Xyrill has a short hair.
"Anong nangyari?" Present Xyrill asked followed by a strong cough. Hinimas naman ni future Xyrill ang balikat niya.
"The Palace has stated Empress Xyrill as a criminal" Pinilit ni present Xyrill na magsalita kahit inuubo pa rin. Lumapit si Dr. Alfein sa kaniya.
