The Knights of Round. 12 individuals with amazing skills in different fields. Only the best of best have the chance to become one of the 12 Knights. With the honour to protect the people and the Empire.

The 12 Knights of Abydos gathered to discuss about their new mission for the upcoming Ceremony that will held in the Palace.

Normally, everyone has a different mission in different places. And it's been a while since they gathered in one place and to share one big mission. This only happens when there is a big gathering of the powerful people inside the Palace. And their mission is to protect the people and the most important person in their world. The Emperor.

"The Arthya's will arrive at Sunday morning" Tarchon said. The eldest in the 12 Knights.

But don't belittle the old geezers in the 12 Knights. One of the rules of being a Knight is that only death can release them from serving the Empire.

And there is a saying "Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young"

But of course, they're some prodigies that exceeds everyone's expectation. Astrid, Leif and Speros are the youngest in the 12 Knights. Proving to everyone that age is just a number.

"Some of us will assigned at escorting the Arthya until they safety arrive at the Palace" said by another woman in the 12 Knights. Byzantia, who also trained Astrid while she was young.

"Also, Prince Clovis wouldn't leave the Palace until the Wedding Ceremony of the Emperor" Eguzki informed them, he's also one of the oldest in the 12 Knights. He is also close to the youngest Prince of Abydos, whom he trained.

"Good. He's such a troublesome prince. We can keep an eye on him while he is in the Palace" Speros raised his eyebrow after hearing what Klaus said.

Klaus, one of the strongest among the 12 Knights and he also came from a powerful family in the country of Samavia.

"And what about the foreign girl?" Leif stared at Zogofros. He didn't say any names but Leif know who's he talking. Of course there's only one girl who is not from their world.

"Ah, the girl who becomes an Arthya just because she's from another world" that irked Leif which Speros noticed.

"Not to be rude Mr. Vasco, but you're in no position to talked about that. Let's wait for the Choosing of Arthya. After all she was recommended by Prince Asher" Speros answered back.

The 12 Knights might be sharing the same goal but they also have different views in life. And you can't avoid this kind of exchange of words.

"She doesn't need any company, she's already living in the Palace, the royal guards can look after her. Let's focus about the other Arthya" Astrid calmly said as she also noticed how annoyed Leif is.

"Let's make this fast, the Emperor needs me and Helios in the throne room" Klaus interrupted them.

After a long discussion, one Knight is assigned to protect the Arthya until they get in the Palace.

While the rest of 12 Knights will stay at the Palace.

"Hey Leif, what was that?" Hinawakan ni Astrid si Leif sa balikat para pigilan ito sa paglalakad.
