Allegiant Continues

Chapter Twenty Seven

When I woke up, I was still on the ground but two Dauntless were standing over me. I recognized them as Zeke and Hector. I tried to sit up.

"Hold on Tris. We'll help you get up." Hector said

They helped me up. I was still weak. They put my arms around their shoulders and started walking toward the compound. I let my feet drag behind me. Zeke and Hector didn't seem to have trouble walking with me. They walked down to the Pit where Tobias was standing.

"Four!" Zeke called

Tobias turned around. His face lit up when he saw me.

"Where did you find her?" Tobias said lightly pulling me off their shoulders

"She was lying on the ground outside of the compound." Zeke said

I started to cry. I regained my balance. Zeke and Hector left the Pit. Tobias wrapped his arms around me. I couldn't speak.

"What did they do to you? Where were you?" Tobias said

"Drew. Amity." I said

That was all I could say

"Drew? I thought he was dead." I shook my head

Tobias looked at my arms and my ankles. A tear rolled down his cheek. I pretended not to notice.

"What did he do to you?" Tobias asked again

"You wouldn't be able to imagine what he did to me. You would-. You would-" I choked on the words

I started to cry again. Tobias held me closer. We walked to our house. When we got home, I went upstairs to our bathroom. Tobias followed close behind. I sat on the edge of the tub and inspected my ankles and wrists. Tobias came into the bathroom and sat next to me on the tub.

"Tris. Tell me what happened." Tobias said

"You and Zeke were fighting and someone came up behind me. He put a choke in my mouth and left a note on the ground. He dragged me outside the compound and knocked me out. I woke up in Amity tied to a bed deep in Amity headquarters. He-" I looked down

"Tris. What did he do?" Tobias asked gently

I looked at him with tears streaming down my face. Tobias wrapped his arms around me.

"It is easier to show you than to tell you." I said

"Okay." Tobias said "You can show me in the morning."

We stood up. Tobias wrapped his arms around me. I leaned my head into his chest. He ran his hand through my hair. We walked to our bedroom. I grabbed some clothes and changed out of my Amity clothes. When I finished changing, I walked to our bed and climbed in. Tobias wrapped his arms around me and I fell asleep.

Drew, Marcus and Christina were standing in the doorway of our bedroom. Marcus stepped forward. My mother and father came into the room. I bolted out of bed.

"Come with us Tris. You're done here." Marcus said

"Why would I come with you?" I said

"Tris. You're dead." my mother said
