Chapter Fourty

"Again? Who strangled you this time?" Zeke said laughing

I was about to tell him when Tobias answered.

"Caleb." he said

"Her brother?" Zeke said

"Yea."

I looked at Tobias. I opened my mouth to speak but a nurse came over. My face started to become hot again. She waved Tobias, Zeke and Shauna outside.

"Tris. Listen to me. Don't talk, just listen." she said

My face got hotter.

"Tris calm down. Jen! Get over here!" the nurse said

Another nurse came in. Jen, I guess.

"Tris calm down!" Jen said

I clawed at the brace.

"Tris! Jen get it!" the other nurse called "okay Tris, my name is Mary. Can you calm down?"

I shook my head.

"Tris calm down! Amy! Jen! Chris! Get over here!" Mary said

Two nurses and and doctor came over. I clawed at the brace. My face became hotter.

"Jen! Get the syringe!" Mary said

Jen came back with a syringe filled with a white liquid.

"Tris, this will help you. I promise it won't hurt you." Mary said as she injected me

My face cooled down. I stopped clawing at the brace. My eyes got heavy.
