Bright lights. They were everywhere. I sat up in bed. I looked at the clock. 2 am. Tobias was talking to someone outside. I got out of bed and slipped on a sweater and socks. I walked over to Tobias.
"What do you mean no power?" Tobias said
"Someone knocked out the circuit board. There's a big bullet hole in the covering." a voice said
I recognized the voice as Zeke.
"Can I see it?" I asked
They both looked at me.
"I swear when I'm old your gonna give me a heart attack." Tobias said
"Follow me." Zeke said
We followed him to where the circuit was. There were multiple bullet holes in the covering. The size of the bullet holes weren't right.
"Give me your gun." I said
Tobias gave me his gun. I took a paintball canister out of my pocket. I coated the bullet in paint. Tobias and Zeke stared at me. I shot the covering. The bullet left a black stain on the covering.
"Who ever shot at this, didnt use a Dauntless gun." I said, handing Tobias' gun back
"What do you mean?" Zeke asked
"That means that a Dauntless didn't shot this open." I said "and the bullet holes are sideways. No Dauntless shoots that bad."
"So who shot it?" Zeke asked
"I think I know who." I said
I walked toward the Pit. Once Tobias caught up with me, I started to sprint. We ran out of the compound. I ran ahead. I ran towards Erudite.
