Excursion

Pdv Kira :

It will be about 3 months since I arrived with them. I get along very well with everyone but especially with Merle, Dale and Glenn. Of course there is my family but them it is normal.

Speaking of family my mom and Shane sleep together it shows like the nose in the middle of the face. Their little getaway in the forest Shane who joins my mother's tent in the evening. Luckily Carl wants to sleep with me all the time if not the poor kid.
It disgusts me to the point seeing them next to each other makes me want to puke, how could she do that to daddy?

Anyway, just got back from a city trip with glenn. We brought new clothes, food and medicine. Glenn and I are the perfect duo for excursions, we always bring back what we need. Shane is on top of the RV keeping watch.

Shane: But say you come home early today.

Glenn: Yeah there was more room in our backpacks.

Me: Next time we'll take a suitcase.

Glenn: It's clear.

Me: The others are still sleeping?

Shane: Yeah all closed.

Glenn: Well, I'm going to go take a nap Kira, can you wake me up when the others are up?

Me: Yes, don't worry.

Glenn went to his tent to rest.
I was also going to go when Shane interrupts me I don't even want to turn around. Him and mom piss me off, I know it's not my problem but hey...

Shane: Wait I have a present for you.

He descends and enters the motorhome, he comes out with a big sports bag in his hands.

Shane: Here it's for you. I found this and immediately thought of you.

I take the bag then open it, it's a real Ali Baba cave. All there is is amazing.
There's a black cargo, a hoodie, kunai and a... camcorder.

Me : a camcorder ?

Shane: Well yes that way you can film our little adventures.

I smiled at him, it's amazing what he found. And it is true that I am extremely happy with all that. I thank him before going back to my tent with the bag

Once in my tent I see Carl's little head still sleeping. I smile looking at him. Thinking about it, he will never know the fact of having parties, of being 18, of passing his license, of passing his baccalaureate... He will live in a cruel world and that eats me. I put the bag in a corner and go to bed next to Carl, I watch him sleep while stroking his hair. I could watch him sleep for hours and hours, he looks so serene.
I stay like that for at least 10 minutes before those little eyes open.

Carl: Hello.

Me: Hello, slept well little groundhog?

Carl : Yeah !

Me: I'll let you get ready, we'll meet outside with the others, okay, little prince? Take I give my sweater.

Carl: Thank you big sister.

I give him a kiss and head for Glenn's tent, everyone is awake, I'll say hello to them afterwards. I enter Glenn's tent. He is sleeping like a little baby. I so want to wake him up with a bucket of cold water. I laugh to myself just seeing his face. But hey... I don't have cold water available unfortunately.

Me: Glenn? Glen?

I shake him but nothing has done, he is sleeping soundly. Well beh I'll go the hard way for my greatest pleasure. I get up and take off. And I jump on him.

Me: GO WAKE UP YOU FEGNIANT!

Glenn: Ahhhhh what's going on.

Me: Nothing at all. You told me to wake up.

Glenn: BUT WAKE UP GENTLY!

Me: I tried but you didn't wake up so I did the hard way.

Glenn: ...

Me: Get up, we're waiting for you outside.

I laugh before leaving the tent. Despite all this shit I'm happy and I'd be even happier if my dad was with us.

Everyone was already on the alert, I place myself between Merle and Shane.

Me: Hello

Everyone: Hello

Me: What's on the agenda today?

Merle: Excursion

Me: Ok or that?

Shane: Right in Atlanta

Me : What ?! Are you crazy ?! It's packed with walkers !

Shane: Ah thank you finally someone who thinks like me.

Glenn: Kira yourself you said it there's nothing in the store.

Me: And who will be there.

Glenn: Jacquie, Morales, Andrea, Tdog, Me and....

Merle: And me.

Me: Alright then I'm coming with you!

Merle: Nah, it's out of the question, treasure, you go there every 2 days, risk your ass for us, so it's up to us to do some work.

Shane: This is the first time I've agreed with him.

Me : ...

Once lunched, he begins to load everything into the truck to go to Atlanta. They are completely oblivious!

Me: And above all, you understand?! This time if I won't be there to watch your ass.

Glenn: Don't worry.

He gives me a hug, I take off his cap and ruffle his hair. I then go to see Merle who is already chatting with Daryl.

Merle: Well, here's my favorite pain in the ass.

Me: Be careful and don't do stupid things!

Merle: I promise you I'll be wise as a picture. Come on come into my arms doll.

I take him in my arms, we separate and he gets in the truck. Please  may everyone come back alive.....
