Rick: Is there anyone?

Dale: Watch the doors. Watch out for walkers.

We're watching every entrance when we hear someone reloading a gun.
I stand in front of everyone. It's her doctor Jenner super.... You could say that I don't like him very much, I find him arrogant. Every time I came here, he constantly put me down and I can tell you that the only thing I wanted was to fuck his face on these PCs

Me: Hold on Doctor Jenner.

Jenner: Kira Grimes.... Have any of you been bitten?

Rick: A member yes but he is no longer there.

Jenner: I'm going to ask you to do some blood work. And go get your things when this door closes it will be final.

He takes us into his elevator to go to his lab. We're all crammed together, well, you don't have to be clostro.

Rick: Rick Grimes.

Jenner: Grimes?

He looks at me then redirects his gaze to my father. I take one of my cigarettes and stuck it in my mouth. Daryl nudges me and whispers:

Daryl: You got one for me?

Me: So hold on? You talk to me now. *I smiled*

He doesn't say anything he just gnaws his thumb, I feel like he does that all the time. I take a cigarette and give it to him.

Daryl: Thank you.

We come underground. Or he's directing us to his lab.

Jenner: Welcome to Area 5.

Rick: Wait where are the others?

Jenner: Ahead of you is more than me here.

He redirects us to another room to do our blood test.

Me: Can I ask you a question doc?

Jenner: Am I listening?

Me: The soldiers outside were unit 14, right?

Jenner: Yes, but don't worry about him, he wasn't there.

Me: How come he wasn't there?!

Jenner: A soldier told me that the sergeant had left to find his wife, his kids and...

He lifted his head up to look me in the eye. I don't feel it...

Jenner: And his little sister, but since you're here, I guess he still hasn't found you.

I say nothing. So he too went to get me... please tell me that nothing happened to him!

Jenner: Come on, can you go. By the way, I had no idea you were alive.

Once all the blood tests are done, Jenner invites us to eat. It was a very, very good atmosphere.
Dale pours me a glass of wine.

Dale: You know in Italy children are allowed to drink a little bit of wine for dinner. And in France too.

Lori: Yes, well if one day Carl goes to France or Italy he can drink it.

Rick: Why don't you want it won't kill him. It may taste good.

Lori: Ok.

Carl tastes some wine and pulls a face.

Carl: Poauhhh it's not good!

Everyone starts laughing. Glenn takes a bottle of wine.

Daryl: Nah not you Glenn.

Glenn: What?

Daryl: Keep boozing I want to see if you turn red when you get burned.

Everyone laughs again. I was sitting on a kind of counter everyone was sitting around a table except me and Daryl who comes to stand next to me.

Rick: I think we didn't thank our host properly.

Tdog: It's more than our host.

Everyone raises their glass in the air.

Daryl: Cheers Doc!

Rick: Thank you.

Me: Cheers Jenner.

Shane: When are you going to tell us what happened here doc? All the other researchers who were supposed to rack their brains to find out what happened. Where did they go?

Rick: Shane....We're partying here. We'll see that later.

Shane: Hold on, I thought that was what we came for. That's what you said, right? That here we were going to find the answers to all our questions and in the end....

He starts laughing. What's wrong with him right now?!

Shane: In the end all we find is him. A guy all alone. For what ?!

Jenner: Well when it all started a lot of them went home to find their families and when it got worse the military got eaten.... The others who were left fled...

Shane: All of them?! Until the last one ?

Jenner: Nah, a lot of them didn't have the strength for what was waiting for them outside... They... Opted for other things... There was a wave of suicide.

Andrea: But you didn't leave. For what ?

Jenner: I continued my research, I hoped it might prove useful.

Me: Damn we can really say that you know how to ruin the atmosphere.

After this "discussion" Dr. Jenner shows us around all the rooms and bedrooms.

Jenner: If you shower save the hot water.

Glenn turns to me.

Glenn: Did he say hot water?!

Me: Looks good.

Neither more nor less we rush to the shower I managed to enter first.
