Pdv Kira :

I get out from under the car and run into the woods to catch up with her. I'm running full speed, tryna run as fast as I can

It's just that a kid, she can't die now. She is still too young, she has her whole life ahead of her. I have to find her by all means!

I see him in the distance trying to escape the walkers. Immediately, I take another path to arrive in front of her and I receive her in my arms. My father arrives 2 seconds later completely out of breath.

Sophia: Pull them over go.

Me: Nah, if I shoot the horde, you'll hear, but I'll take care of the nine, okay, you'll go hide with my father.

She nods and she goes into my father's arms.

Rick: Be careful.

Me: Don't worry, I manage.

My father is running towards the highway with the kid in his arms. As for me, I make a diversion but unfortunately 7 walkers followed me 2 others stayed with my father and Sophia.

Me: Fuck it!

Well it's okay, I trust my father, I know he's going to protect the kid and they'll both be fine.

Once we're far enough away from them, I turn around and face the 7 walkers.

I put a kunai in the first, I turn around and put one in the second. I step back a little more from them and throw two other kunai into 2 prowlers who were advancing towards me.

I quickly run to get my kunai back from the skull of the prowlers and the plants from two others. I take out a knife and stick it in the last one.

I'm completely out of breath, I get all my kunai and my knife and go back on the highway.

As soon as they arrive they all jump on me asking me lots of questions.

Carole: My little girl, have you found her?!

She's crying hot tears, poor thing... I can't even imagine what she must be feeling.

Me: Yes my father and I have found her and she is fine I left her with my father while I killed all the walkers who were after us.

Carol: Thank you thank you. Infinitely thank you! *she squeezes my hands*

Me: You don't have to thank me, you have to thank my father.

5 minutes have passed and my father returns but without Sophia.. he is alone. What has happened ? Where is the kid? She is fine ?

My father explains to us that he left him in a kind of hole, and that he told him to come back towards the highway.

The boys and I will try to trace the tracks to find out where she may have gone.
Why did she get out of that car?!

Daryl: Are you sure it was there?

Rick: I left it here. I lured the prowlers there, going upstream.

Daryl: Great, we're not in deep shit.

Rick: I thought she joined the band. I told him to go that way keeping the sun to his left.

Daryl: Hey half moon step aside you're fucking the track!

Shane: If she doesn't know her left from her right.

Rick: She understood me very well.

I help Daryl back up the river by giving him my hand which he grabs without hesitation.

Daryl: Hmm thank you....

I also help Glenn and Shane back up.

Shane: Alright, let's find her. She must be hiding somewhere.

After a long search that gave absolutely nothing, here we are again on the side of the highway with everyone waiting for us impatiently.

Carole: You haven't found it?

Rick: The track disappears. We resume the search in the morning.

Carole: You can't just leave her there all night.

Daryl: It's too dangerous in the dark we'd get lost.

Me: I'm sorry Carol.

Carole plants her eyes in mine, they are tearful, she looks at me with so much sadness that it twists my stomach. I promise myself that I will find her. I have to find her by all means.

With these words I go for a walk on the highway. I sit in the trunk of a car.

Night has fallen, I hear footsteps approaching me. I know he's not a prowler, the way the person walks, he can't be one.

Daryl comes and sits next to me.

Daryl: It's not your fault....

I turn my head towards him and our eyes meet. He starts biting his nail, it's really a habit.

Me: My job is to save people and I can't do it...

Daryl: You were the only one who didn't think and went straight to her when you risked your life. In addition... before there weren't dead who rose again.

I give him a smile. He may not be talkative but he manages to cheer people up. I take my chain around my neck and tighten it. Daryl watches me, cigarette in mouth.

Me: Well, if I would have believed one day that the great Daryl Dixon would cheer me up, I wouldn't have believed it.

He giggles, I fall on my back in the trunk while he stays by my side smoking his cig.
