The attack

Pdv Kira :

We've been walking in the woods towards the camp for more than 2 hours.
We are almost there when we hear shouting and gunshots.

Rick: The campement !  FAST!

We run at full speed to the camp when I see Carl 3 centimeters from a prowler. I exceed everyone kill the walker and put myself in front of him to kill all the others who arrived. Once I have killed the walkers who were near Carl I take him in my arms and put him on the roof of the camper.

Me: Carl don't you move understood?!

Carl: Yes I promise you. Be careful big sister.

I run to help others.
After long endless minutes we managed to kill all the walkers. I take Carl in my arms to lower him from the roof.
I feel that he hugs me as much as possible I run into the arms of my father and my mother.

Lori: Thank you... Thank you very much my daughter.

I step back from them and look around the camp. There are quite a few corpses on the ground, but not only walkers. From ours...

Andrea: AMYYYYY!!!!!

I turn my head to Andrea, my heart sinks immediately. Andrea's sister Amy is lying on the ground in blood. I can't even imagine what I would be like if I lost Carl or... anyway.
Glenn is completely shocked. I approach him. He takes refuge in my arms, hugging me as much as possible.

I lift my head from his neck and see Daryl watching us from afar. He gives me a nod accompanied by a weak smile which I return.

Glenn: Why Kira huh?! For what ?! .

Me: I don't know Glenn... I don't know...

After several minutes in each other's arms we separate and go to prepare a fire to burn the prowlers. Shane almost runs towards me. He puts his hands on either side of my face and inspects me.

Shane: Thank God you have nothing!

He takes me in his arms half a second later. He's holding me so tight I feel like he's gonna crush my bones

Me: You-you crush me

I laugh as he releases me. He kisses my forehead and leaves.

I look in the direction of Andrea, she has not moved except that she took her sister in her arms. Dale stands next to me.

Rick: Andrea still won't move?

Lori: She doesn't talk to anyone...

Rick: I'll try to talk to her.

My father approaches Andrea but hardly it is time to speak that Andrea pulls out his gun and points it in the direction of my father.
He comes back to us shocked.

Me: Ok, so it's done...

Daryl: Nah, are you kidding me?! We're not going to let this girl make the laws?! Especially since this corpse is a time bomb!

Me: Oh yeah and what do you propose?!

Daryl: We put a fucking ball on him.

Lori: Nan but Andrea is in mourning leave him alone!

Daryl leaves buried the corpses while swearing. I don't know if it was Merle who caused this but if so it won't.

We're all discussing what to do when Jacquie interrupts us, screaming.

Jacquie: JIM IT'S BITE!

Everyone gets up and runs to see him.

Daryl: Show us! Show us the bite!

Jim grabs a shovel and tries to hit us with it. I dodge his punch and stand behind him and pin him down as Daryl lifts his shirt to look at the bite. Daryl gestures for me to let go. What I do. And I come back between Shane and Daryl.

Rick: What do we do?

Daryl: He'd need a good pickaxe in the brains and that's the same for that chick over there.

Shane: What would you want us to do if it was you?!

Daryl: Yeah even I would thank you.

Dale: I think Daryl is right.

Rick Nan maybe the CDC has remedies for that! We should go there!

Shane: No, where we should go is to a military base at Fort Benning. Tell me Kira you who are military what is there.

Me: All. Food, water, training camps. But it's more than 150 km away and then if you want my opinion at this time everyone is infected... There may be walls if one of them inside was infected, it doesn't would have made no difference to being protected.

After a long debate. We opt to go to the CDC to try and save Jim. We talk and hear grunts. It was Amy transforming into a walker. I was about to intervene when Andrea shot her sister to the skull.

Me: I'm going to talk to her.

Lori: Try, but she'll never want to.

I walk over to Andrea and sit down next to her.

Me: I can't imagine how you feel... If I lost Carl or... I don't think I'd ever be able to get up... It's even impossible. But Amy must have a funeral like any other. She deserves it. Can I take Amy and place her next to a grave? Of course I'll let you put it on yourself if you want. But you just have to trust me...

Andrea: I trust you Kira...And Amy trusted you too...So go ahead...

Me: Thank you Andrea... Thank you very much...

I pick Amy up in my arms and lead her to a grave followed by D'Andrea and everyone's shocked stares. Everyone joins us and we let Andrea place her sister in her grave. After the funeral everyone began to prepare their things.

Carl throws himself into my arms.

Carl: We're safe now big sister huh?....

Me: As long as I'm here, you'll be there, Carl, I promise.
