Bakugo's POV:

"Hey... Bakugo... Here."

I lifted my head off the counter.

"Hm?"

He set a bowl of rice in front of me with miso soup on the side.

"I was gonna make some type of meat with the rice but I'm kind of a shitty cook."

"You probably had servants or some shit growing up."

"No, everyone we ever hired quit. But I had my sister."

"Why'd they all quit?"

"Because they.... I dunno.... I guess they couldn't bear being around all the yelling and the beatings and..... you know....."

"Yeah. Anyways thanks."

"Yeah." He mumbled awkwardly. "Eat slowly so you don't puke."

"Yeah yeah I know. Tch."

I sighed.

"I could've gone to school..." I muttered.

"No, because you'd probably be passed out from dehydration or throwing up from motion sickness in training so, yeah. You're welcome."

I rolled my eyes and took a drink of water. I was too tired and in pain to argue. My phone vibrated.

[Deku]

D - hey, I saw you and Todoroki leave, but neither of you are here. is he okay?

I sighed in annoyance.

B - he's fine

D - oh, okay. are you ok? you did look kind of pale and tired when you were yelling at everyone

I rolled my eyes and closed my phone, not answering.

A little while passed and we had finished our food. We went to relax in the common area, since we hardly ever went in there any other time.

"It's so much nicer when there's no people." He said, sitting on the couch.

"I'm a person." I said shrugging.

"Well that's different."

"How so?"

"Shush it just is, don't overthink it. My head hurts too, I'm too tired for that shit."

"You literally seem completely normal, you don't look hungover at all."

"Two reasons. One, two beers really isn't that much. Neither is four, but you've never drank before so it's different for you. Plus chances are you're a lightweight. And two, I come to school hungover at least a dozen times a month. Your body adjusts after awhile."

"I guess."

He laughed a bit.

"So what do you remember?"

"Idk, everything's kind of foggy."

"Really?"

"What do you mean really ?"

"Nothing, it's just weird. I mean you weren't like blackout drunk, and usually memories would start coming back within the first hour of waking up. But then again, I don't remember the first time I drank like at all, so it's probably weird for you."
