When I got out there I ran round the corner so know one could see me I stood against the wall for a moment then slid down it as I broke down. "DEREK!!!" Shouted Meredith who was currently trying to find me eventually she came round the corner and sat on the bench in front of me "what's up?" She asked looking kind of curious "I've just had enough of things going wrong in our lives there is two of my friends in the trauma rooms injured because of some idiot in a car who can't look out for others and it doesn't help that he walked away from the scene. "Derek it's ok there going to be fine" said Meredith with her hand on my head "NO MEREDITH!! It's not not ok people die and get injured in this awful place from George to Izzie then to Mark and Lexie even you Meredith we have saw most of our friends die or get injured and I can't deal with it again, after my dad died I promised myself I would never go through that pain again but when the bomb went off in front of you I knew that if you died I could never get out of bed in the morning ever but when you drowned for those few hours that I sat outside your room I felt that a piece of me that I can't live without was missing and it was you, I love you Meredith Grey and I can't live without you" I said burying my head into my hands and I started to cry
"Derek no stop please honey look at me" she said as I looked up
MEREDITH'S POV
I hated him looking like that with tears streaming down his face
"Derek get up" I said getting up and holding out my hand
"Derek you need to understand I will never leave you because I did promise that I would let you die when you are 110 in my arms so I'm in it for the long haul and don't worry about Addie and Sam they will be fine we have seen worse that people have survived to how's this any different" I said wiping his tears away
"How do you keep calm in situations like this?"
"Unstable childhood I can deal with situations like these"
DEREKS POV
"Meredith I love you, you know that right"
"Yea I love you too Derek wanna hug?
"Yea" I said moving in and hugging her
"Have I told you how hot you look in that suit?" She said into my ear
"Haha" I started to laugh then kissing her
"Let's go in" I said
"Ok let's go"
