"So when were you planning on telling your mother that your wife is pregnant" she asked
"Ehm when she hit twenty one keep her away from the sister trouble" I replied
"Yea good point"
"Wait your sisters are nice" Addie said
"Yea three of them are Nancy not so much" I said while my mom and Meredith laughed
"Well Nancy's nice to me" she replied
"Yea because Nancy liked you after the divorce and she never liked me" Mer said
"oh ok" she mumbled
"Derek the baby kicked" Mer said holding my arm
"What she kicked really" I said putting my hand on her stomach
"Yea really" she said as she kicked my hand
"Oh she really is you guys wanna feel" I asked
"No your the parents we'll feel it later hey Addie lets leave these two alone and go down to the hospital" my mom said
"Yea lets go see you guys" she said hopping into the rental car and heading to the hospital
"Hey she's still going she could be a soccer player or something"
I looked up for a second and realised I felt like causing some trouble so I took the glass of cold water and dunked it over Mer's head and she jumped
"Derek Christopher Shepherd I'm gonna get you" she said running up to the hose and turning it on and chasing me around the garden soaking me until she grabbed a hold of me and I pulled her to the ground so she was next to me with her head on my chest looking up to the sky
"Your not normal Derek" She said
"No I'm not normal I know that but at least I love you" I said kissing her head
"I love you too Der" she said giggling
