"Good morning kids" I said walking outside into the beautiful sunshine. The kids had been playing soccer in the garden with their dad for the last 2 hours while I lay in.
"Hey mom" they all said they're all so big
Zola is 8
Bailey is 6
And Lexie is 2 and a half
"Hey babe" Derek said running out of the trees with the soccer ball and threw it towards me and I caught it watching him run over. He sat down next to me as I threw the ball over to Bailey.
"Hey happy post it anniversary" I said placing my hand on his thigh
"Happy post it anniversary I love you" he replied pulling me in for a kiss
"Ewww do you need to do that its gross!!!!" Zola said in disgust
"Oh is it really come here all of you" I said and she walked over
"What is it mom" she said as he picked her up and Derek picked Bailey and Lexie
"You know that I love you all right" I said as Derek grew a confused look on his face
"Mer what's wrong" he asked
"Well your gonna have another brother or sister" I said to the kids. I found out last week that I was 5 weeks pregnant.
"Oh ok woohoo" Zola said not sure whereas Bailey was really happy
"Woohoo I hope I get a brother so I can play soccer with him and dad" he said running off to kick the ball around and Lexie followed him.
"Oh my god Mer are you serious" he asked
"Yea I'm serious I found out last week"
"Meredith we're gonna have four of us running around I'm so excited" he said pulling me in for a hug
"I love you so much Derek"
"I love you too Mer" he placed a kiss on my forehead.
