Dark times (part 1)

4 HOURS LATER
Kathleen, Lizzie and Amy had arrived and Zola and Bailey were in the daycare
"Derek sweetie can you go get stuff from the house" she asked
"Yea sure" I replied while I saw Amy stand up
"I'll come with you I left something at the house" she said
"Ok I'll see you later Mer I love you" I said kissing her
"I love you too" she replied
Me and Amy were driving home and we were talking
"So how are you and Owen" I asked
"We're good we are wedding planning" she said smiling
"Well that's good I'm happy for you both"
"Thanks Derek" that was the last thing I heard before we were struck by a car and down a cliff like hill into a forest
I woke up to Amy panicking and I realised I was upside down still in the car and I was losing a lot of blood from a cut on my head three on my legs and two to the abdomen but there was a deep one on my lower back that was bleeding really fast and Amy was walking fine but her arm looked really bad and she was shouting at the paramedics.
"Amelia calm down" I said softly
"Oh my god Derek your awake your going to be fine" she said calming me down
"No Amelia I'm not fine I'm on the brink of dying how long till the paramedics get here"
"about ten minutes there on there way so stay awake" I heard but I was already out until I heard sirens and men trying to cut me out of the car
"Amelia where's Amelia" I asked
"Sir your sisters here would you like to talk to her" the firefighter replied and I nodded and he sent Amy over
"Amy call Meredith and let me speak to her" I asked and she nodded back
"Dr Shepherd you only have two minutes so be quick" the paramedic said while the phone was ringing
"Hello" Mer said
"Hi Mer its me" I said silently
"Derek are you ok" she said sounding worried
"No Mer don't panic but my car may have been hit by another car Amy's ok but there still trying to cut me out of the car.......Meredith it's not looking good and I may not come home so I phoned to tell you I love you and not to panic bye"
"I love you too Derek I love you so much much" she said as the phone went dead and they started cutting me out again.
