"Ok new crop of well rounded, smart and reliable interns start today and Dr Sheperd will tell you all who is with who" Richard said in a hurry and handing Derek the clipboard
"So blah blah blah well rounded, smart, reliable we hope" he said sarcastically and everyone giggled
He got through them all but the last few Attending's to get Interns were Derek, Amelia and myself the 3 Sheperds
"Well before you get confused we are all Sheperds so I'm going to use our first names and we'll put our hands up when our groups are called so..Jenson, Carson, Smith and Henderson you are with Amelia" he said and Amelia raised her hand and walked away
"Richardson, Scott, Anderson and ehm Dandrige" your with me
I saw only 3 Interns there
"Derek there are only 3" I asked
"Yes Finn got caught in traffic he'll be here any minute" one of the interns said and me and Derek went from normal to annoyed slightly
"Wait a minute Finn Dandrige the vet" he asked
"Yes Derek as in Finn Dandrige the vet or ex vet" Finn said walking up
"Ok the people who are with me follow and listen" I said walking away
DEREKS POV
"I walked the new interns through everything and then went to find Meredith. I eventually found her sitting in the x-Ray room
"Chiefs office 5 minutes about Dr Dandrige" I said in a hurry
"Ok" she said getting up and packing everything away then making her way up there
i knocked on the door of Richards office
"Derek what can I do for you" he asked leaning back
"I want to know why you hired a vet as one of the new interns"
"Dr Dandrige went to college around the same time as Meredith did then went to med school but decided not to do human medicine but he redid his last year of med school and we gave him a job why"
Immediately after he said that Meredith came in
"What's going on?" she asked
"Your Ex boyfriend is parading around the hospital as a new intern disobeying my orders I can't have him as my intern"
"Suck it up Derek" Richard said clearly
"Did you see what he did to my face let alone my hand I can't operate" I replied
"Well either can he" Meredith said
"Yea because he's a intern he doesn't do surgery I'm a important neurosurgeon I need to"
"Hold on a minute he's Finn your ex boyfriend and you did that to his face" he asked pointing to me and Mer as we both agreed then a smile grew on his face
"Did you put your weight behind your punches?"
"What do you think" I said smiling
"Good man but I'm still not moving him" he said
"It's fine just thinking about I might have some fun with this" I replied
"Yea but before you might want to clean those cuts there bleeding again and the renewal was lovely last night"
"Ok and thanks chief" I said as we walked out hand in hand
"You want me to fix them?" Meredith asked
"Yea do you mind" I replied
"Well I don't want my Mcdreamy Prince Charming all cut up but you will need stitches so let's go"
She pulled me down to the ER to fix them when Finn walked up to us to ask a question
"Nice face" he said sarcastically
"Yea you too at least mine isn't that bad because I have Meredith looking after me" I replied
"Well I have Nancy" he said pushing my buttons I was about to swing again but Meredith interrupted
"Ok wise guy you can either stand there and mouth off then get yourself fired or you can ask a question then get the hell out of our faces" she shouted
"Well what shall I do with patient in room 206?" He asked smiling
"Well I was going to tell you to leave him but since he has came up with different symptoms then I suggest a ehm rectal exam" I said smiling as his smile dropped
"Bye bye Dr Dandrige" Meredith said closing the curtain
"I could marry you for the fourth time your so hot when you take charge" I said raising my eye brows then kissing her softly
"Well you can't 3 is enough but what you can do I sit still so I can finish your stitches" she said moving my head still as I laughed.
