Halloween special

I was in the store with Bailey, Zola and Lexie getting Halloween costumes
"Daddy daddy daddy I want to be this" Bailey said handing me a doctors costume
"You want to dress up as a doctor" I replied
"Not just a doctor daddy I want to be a surgeon just like you and mommy but it doesn't come with a stethoscope" he replied struggling with the word stethoscope
"Well why don't you wear this and I'll give you my stethoscope and one of my scrub caps" I said and a big smile creeped over his face
"Yes yes yes"
"Dad I want to be a doctor too" Zola said handing me a outfit
"Me too" Lexie mumbled
"All my little surgeons but are you sure"
"Yea" they all said
"Ok then let's go" I said placing them in the basket and walking out
At home
We walked into the house and Meredith was sitting on the couch talking to Arizona.
"Hey guys how was your trip with daddy" she asked
"Good" they all said then ran off to the play room
"Hey beautiful" I said walking over and kissing her then sitting down on the floor in front of the fire
"So how was the trip" she asked
"Well they dragged me to the Halloween isle and I stood and let them pick" I replied
"And what did they pick" she replied
"Well Zola is a little surgeon, Bailey wants to be me and Lexie also wants to be a surgeon"
"Wait we have 3 little surgeons for Halloween" Mer laughed
"Yea we do"
"Wow Sophia can't decide between astronaut and doctor but you have it down" Arizona said looking at the costumes
"Hold on baileys and Zola's doesn't have a scrub cap or a stethoscope" she said
"That's where we come in"
"We could let them borrow ours"
"Exactly what I was thinking" I replied
"Who is holding Halloween this year" Arizona asked
"Alex that means there is going to be no decorations no food it's going to basically be dull" I said
"But Wilson is there" Mer said
"Well yea another woman to tell the guys what to do us women are gonna have fun this year" Arizona replied and my face just dropped
"What are we going as this year" Mer asked
"I will tell you later it's a surprise" I replied
"Remember you two it's a kids party"
"We know" we both said together
Later that night (Mer's POV)
"So what are we going as" I asked
"Well why don't we go as each other I go as you you go as me" he replied and I couldn't hold in the laughter
"Are you serious"
"Yea we need to give both kids and adults something to laugh about"
"Ok then it's your man hood that's on the line" I said still laughing
"I'm not too bothered"
2 days later
"Hey it's the shepherds" Alex shouted as we walked in
"Where's your costumes" Jo asked
"I am just about to go put mine on" I said walking up the stairs
10 mins later
"Mer come on" Hunt shouted
"I'm coming" I said sorting my wig at the top of the stairs then walking down
"Oh my god who are you meant to be" Arizona asked
"Guess........oh no my hair is out of place" I said laughing fixing my wig
"Oh my god your Shepherd" Callie laughed
"Hahaha laugh it up now my costume is epic" he said walking up the stairs
Derek's POV
I was standing at the top of the stairs fixing my wig but I had a plan.
"Karev come here" I shouted and I saw him appear at the bottom of the stairs and laugh
After telling him what to do we walked down the stairs
"Like seriously that Mcdreamy is a Mcdouche like seriously....seriously!!!" I said and everyone laughed
"Oh look there's the Mcdouche now" I said looking at Mer then flicking the wig causing more laughter
"Hey Derek your quite hot" Callie said
"Right enough about me lets get trick or treating" I shouted and all the kids shouted
Later that night
"Right kids up to bed" I said carrying lex up to bed and putting her pjs on and tucking her in
Then I checked on Bailey then Zola before I went to bed to find Mer asleep on top of the covers.
I took my clothes off then placed on a pair of shorts then kneeling down in front of her.
"Hey Mer come on let's get those clothes off and in to bed" I said as she mumbles and gets up. Once we had got her clothes off she got under the covers and I followed pulling her letting her snuggling into me.
