Do you remember

It was 10:30 and me and Meredith had a day off from being doctors and being parents because my mom and sisters decided to take them and their kids out for the day and they would be back around 9:00-9:30 so we decided the night before to stay in bed. I lay back and thought for a while until I felt movement which was only to be one thing that being Mer waking up.
"Morning beautiful" I said moving closer
"Hey how long have you been awake?" She replied putting her head on my chest
"Like five minutes I was thinking maybe we could go for a walk later because we never get time to go out and talk without the kids so what do you say" I asked running my hand through her hair
"Yea that would be fun"
"Do you remember a time were we weren't parents" I asked
"Yea but only the parts with you...well the good parts but I think having kids has changed us for the better"
"Yea the only downside is we never get to spend time alone anymore"
"Well we need to fix that don't we I don't want to fade away from my dreamy man do I"
"Well we don't want that do we do you remember when we decided to adopt Zola?"
"Of course I do it is in my top 4 moments with 3 being joint second"
"Oh really what's number one"
"Well joint 2 being Zola, Bailey and Mark coming into our lives and number 1 being you of course" she said looking up and kissing me
FLASHBACK ZOLA
"Derek come on we're going to be late" Meredith said walking in
"Just 5 more minutes" I replied
"You said that 25 mins ago"
"I know but look how cute she is"
"We're never going to make the wedding are we"
"We'll get them a really nice present"

"Meredith lets adopt her"
"You what?.....you want to adopt her?"
"Yea why not we can't have kids and she needs a family"
"Omg seriously....I would love to"

i walked through the door to see Meredith sitting on the couch
"Hey I talked to Clemmens and he transferred the patient over to someone at Seattle press"
"Take a look at the shirt I bought Zola today it's in the bag on the counter"
"Meredith you know guys don't get all google over baby clothes"
"Just look"
"What is this" I said looking at the t-shirt and wondering what's going on so I turned it round and I saw Meredith stand up
"It's only 3 weeks so I should even be telling you because I still have a hostile uterus and terrible things keep happening to us"
"Yea terrible things keep happening to us but it will be fine......we're having another baby" I said leaning in and kissing her
"We're having another baby" she replied smiling and I held her for a long time
FLASHBACK MARK
I walked into my moms room and sat down
"So where are my two grandchildren from Seattle?" She asked
"There in daycare but I'll go get them" I replied
"I'll come with you" Meredith said holding my hand
"Can I talk to you for a minute" she asked
"Yea sure what's up" I replied
"Do you know how your mom said two kids well it's no longer two it's three I'm pregnant" she said smiling
"Oh my god your pregnant" I said picking her up
