"Are you sure you want to do this" I asked Mer in comfort
"Yea there's a few pictures I want from my childhood and there all here" she replied
when we got to the house we saw Molly and John outside the house
"Hey Meredith......Derek" John said in sadness but then in hate when he mentioned my name.
BACKSTORY
John never liked me but it all started December 25th 2000 Meredith invited me to meet her father but when I got there the whole family was there Lexie, Molly, John, Thatchers wife and Thatcher himself. After John had a few drinks in him he started to say bad things about Meredith and her mother so when I told him to stop he hit me so me being me I threw back hitting him multiple times in the face breaking his nose. So that is why he hates me.
BACK TO THE STORY
"So what are you guys wanting from the house it's totally free range we've got all the stuff we wanted it's just up to you now all pictures etc are in that box" Molly said leading John outside
She picked out a picture of Lexie and Mark and me and her with Thatcher at his birthday dinner.
"Oh look baby Mer" I said picking up a picture of a naked baby Meredith
"Derek no your not funny we're not taking that"
"Meredith look" I handed over a photo of me and Meredith on our wedding day
"Molly where did he have this"
"It was on his desk he loved that picture of the two of you he thought since he first met you Derek that you were the right man for Meredith he actually wanted to be buried with that picture along with me and the kids and Lexie and Mark is that ok" she replied
"Yes that sounds perfect" Mer said with tears in her eyes
"Derek can you go put this box in the car while I finish helping Molly" she asked
"Yea sure be back in a minute" i said kissing her cheek then walking out
ones I had put everything in the car I started to walk back to the house where Molly and John were arguing over me
"John stop your hurting her cant you see her father just died you ungrateful human being" I shouted
"Oh really Mr Thatcher liked me more because I'm loaded" he shouted
"No he liked me more because I talked to him I respected him better than you ever did"
"Well I'm surprised he didn't deck you one after Meredith came home with a 3rd year resident while she was an intern" as he said that I lost control and punched him once making him fall over the deck railing
"Oh and by the way John I want a divorce and I'm moving in here" Molly shouted
"You want a lift home" Mer asked her
"No I'm ok I'm gonna stay here and clean up more more as welcome to stay and help if you want" she replied
"Yea sure" Mer said
"I would love too but I have a surgery to get to" I said leaning over to Mer
"Bye honey" she said putting her hand on my back making me come in closer
"Bye I love you" I replied kissing her
"I love you too" she watched me drive off
BACK AT THE HOSPITAL
"Dr Sheperd can I have a word" Finn said from behind
"Yea sure what is it" I replied
"Well you know while you were in LA Meredith and myself sort of got drunk and we may have slept together and that baby is mine because it's been 4 weeks since you were gone and she's 4 weeks pregnant I'm sorry"
He didn't even get to start what else he was going to say because I hit him then walked away I had to speak to Meredith.
AT THE HOUSE
"MEREDITH!!!" I shouted from the porch
"Hey what is it" she replied
"You want to tell me something"...............
