"What's wrong sweetie?" I asked sitting down next to him rubbing his back
"It's just I wish Mark, Lexie and George were still here I think there kids would of been so close to ours" he said leaning back crossing his arms
"I know I do to and it seems that Zola misses them too but let's try and give you the best birthday ever ok"
"Ok"
When we got inside Zola ran up to him and jumped into his arms
"Are you ok daddy" she said sweetly
"Yea I'm ok so what do want to do today"
"I want to hang out with you, mommy, Bailey, baby Mark and auntie Amy"
"Oh really what about we do that at the beach huh?"
"Yea!!" She shouted running off grabbing Amy and running to her room
Once they had ran off Derek came over to me and stood next to me facing the wall
"Who's idea was it to have 3 kids again" he asked smirking
"Hmm I think it was you mister" I replied he turned around and started to play with marks hands
"I can't believe we have 3 kids like cmon it felt like yesterday that I was waking up in your moms house on the floor, meeting in elevators, hiding relationships......" He said before I interrupted him
"And sticking hand in body cavities with bombs in or drowning. We have grown Derek Sheperd"

DEREKS POV
2 hours later all the kids were in the car with Amy and me and Meredith were checking that we had everything
"Sun lotion, check, check, check, check, DEREK DO YOU HAVE YOUR BRAIN?" She said in humour "well if I trip and fall the no" I said walking out the door putting the bags in the car and coming back
"What about...." I said tripping into her
"So I'll take that as a no then"
"Yea that's a no" I said leaning in and kissing her cheek but she pulled me back for a quick kiss on the lips
"LETS GO TO THE BEACH" I said getting in the car and honking the horn
