"Hey can I get a few bandages please" I asked one of the nurses at the desk
"Yes of course Dr Sheperd" she replied leaning over and pulling out 3 large bandages
"What happened to you" i Izzie asked smiling
"Nancy's husband attacked me and why are you smiling?"
"Hold where is he now?"
"In the ER"
"That bad huh" this came from a voice I recognised but wasn't sure of who it was
I turned around to see no other than Dr Izzie Stevens
"Izzie?" Meredith said just looking at her
"Yea it's me I moved to Maine couple of months ago and I'm the one who operated on your mother" she said looking at the chart
"God Izzie I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually missed you" I said walking over to her then hugging her
"Well I missed you guys too how have you been?"
"Well were properly married now and we have 2 beautiful children and we still live in Seattle what about you"
"Well I'm married with a little girl who keeps me on my feet"
"Congratulations"
"Yea you too, I have to go but I'll see you both later"
"Derek can I talk to you" she said grabbing my hand and holding it"

"Do you how yesterday we were on the beach and then your phone went off well I was going to tell you that it's no longer 2, Derek I'm pregnant I went to ob yesterday as soon as I went in"
"Oh my god really that's amazing Mer I love you so much" I picked her up and spun her around kissing her constantly

"Derek get in here" Amelia shouted from inside
i walked in to see my mom lying with her eyes open
"oh my god mom your awake" i said letting go of Merediths hand and walking over to her.
