"Oh home sweet home" I said walking through the front door and dumping myself on the couch
"I'm glad we're back" she said sitting next to me when the door opened
"HEYY ITS THE SHEPERD CHILDREN" Amelia said
"Oh hello to you to" I said looking at her
"Hey do you want me to look after the kids while you guys go show face at the hospital"
"Yea sure thanks"
Me and Meredith got in the car and drove to the hospital. We walked into the front hall to see Torres, Bailey and Hunt standing there
"Hey it's the Sheperd's" Callie shouted
"Nope no longer a sheperd" Meredith said
"Ha you got annoyed with the name already" Owen giggled
"Nope we split a few months ago we're finalising it next month we were having constant arguments about where we were living and more so we decided to split but we will still live together due to the kids" I said
"Oh I'm so sorry" Owen apologised
"It's fine we had a good run but I better get going I'm going to go tell my sister" I said
MEREDITH POV
"I miss him" I said putting my head in my hands
"Wait what why don't you speak to him" Callie said
"Yea I could but he might not feel the same"
"Of course he will your Meredith and Derek, merder, Mr and Mrs Mcdreamy of course he'll take you back" Bailey said knocking sense into me

-I'm sorry for the short chapter I wanted to get something up and try not to hate me for the direction it's taking but more good and bad things to come.
